@ksxshannon ; coming to keisung, ahyoung hadn’t expected to meet anyone she knew at the college, nor the newly opened high school. that was the entire reason her twin brother had been sent along with her -- their parents had quaked at the thought of her all alone, in a place full of strangers where she could easily be (even more) corrupted, so he was also here to keep her in line, as well as to hinder others from doing what their parents feared most to her. so far, though, she thought he had little to worry about. not that he did much of that, anyway, over anything else other than his own studies.
walking along the hallways of keisung, ahyoung was mourning her bank account balance when she stopped short upon seeing someone walk by, looking like someone she knew from her life before keisung. narrowing her eyes, she started tailing the other girl. from this distance, it was hard to tell whether it was really shannon kim that she was seeing before her, so ahyoung quickened her steps to catch up.
“hey!” ahyoung called out. “shannon? is that you?” waiting for the girl to turn around and confirm her suspicions, ahyoung was reminded of all the times before when they were younger, bonded over the fact that their fathers were business associates. they are business associates, ahyoung corrected herself. still, it was difficult to think of why shannon would’ve ended up in the same dump as she had -- ahyoung could barely recall the other girl being anywhere as problematic as she was.

@ksxshannon
sangmin didn’t get nervous very often, but he couldn’t deny that he was nervous at that moment. finding out that the person he’d been texting for months actually went to the same school he’d recently started attending was a shook to his system. mostly because through text he was a lot more... not himself. he was never hostile or mean in anyway. he confided in her and she’d done the same and he tried to be supportive, but that wasn’t the person he really was and he wasn’t ready for the disappointment he was about to face.

he bounces his knee as he waits for the other girl. he can see someone walking up to him and assumes it’s her. he’s not even sure what her name is so it’s not like he can call out to her. he hops off the top of the table and waits for her to reach him. she’s significantly shorter than him, but that’s not anything unusual.
“uh, hey,” he finally says.

sleepover
@ksxshannon
Yujin was careful not to burn herself as she lit the last of her scented candles. The room looked like something out of an indie movie - candles everywhere, a mattress on the floor covered in blankets and pillows, a collection of nail polish, ingredients to make a face mask, fairylights on the walls.
She and Shannon had planned this sleepover for a while, and after convincing their respective roommates that this was, in fact, a good idea (even though Yujin really shouldn’t be trusted around fire), they finally managed to set it up. Yujin was already in her unicorn onesie, looking more like a child than an actual adult.
There was a knock on the door and she cheerfully called out, “Come in!” With excitement in her eyes, Yujin pointed to the collection of dvds. “You can choose the movie~ since you got the snacks and all.”
As a kid, Yujin never got to have sleepovers like everyone else. She was pretty much completely friendless until high school, and even then she never had anyone she was really close to, someone she’d get an invite from. And inviting people over to her place was impossible given her father’s illness.
So this sleepover, as mundane as it might seem, was incredibly special to her.
