Rock Paper Scissors by Alice Feeney

My rating: 4 of 5 stars Rock Paper Scissors is my introduction to Alice Feeney, and I have to say that I'm quite impressed. In the first half of the book, the pacing is rather slow. I struggled with maintaining enough enthusiasm to pick up the book again once put down and to read more than a few pages at a time. Once I reached the halfway point, however, the book seamlessly morphed into a page-turner. I ended up staying up until 1 a.m. last night because I needed to know what happened. Feeney has a magnificent talent for developing and sustaining individualistic writing styles as well as distinctive voices and tones for each of her characters. The POVs are immersive and believable, as though I was actually experiencing the same story through different sets of senses and thoughts. The story is brilliantly and deliberately postured, as is the foreshadowing. This book is another whose twist genuinely caught me off guard. Hold 30-33 gallon garbage bags Stay dry design These are very sturdy and only took a minute to snap together. I can't say how well they hold up outside, but the quality is far better than I expected for the price. I actually bought these as a creative way to sort laundry. I purchased three of these trash hideaways and some cloth liners off Amazon for $7. I snap the liners in the lid so that the weight of my husband's jeans don't make the liner fall into the bin. The top opening hatch is perfect for my kids to use, as it keeps everything...
