I wanted to draw Steb so I went and looked for references and found these faces

He looks so dumb and confused all the time I love him🤲

I'm most likely not the first one to point this out, but I've noticed that the frills Steb has under his eyes react to him trying to figure out what's going on around him, if there are enemies and such.

From what I've been able to notice, these are the two scenes where we see the frills moving clearly.

•Bridge scene

When Zaunites and Jinxers walk over the bridge to join the fight against the Noxian army, the bridge is dark. Another enforcer stops him from walking away and he turns back towards the other side of the bridge. When he notices that someone's walking on the bridge, we see the frills moving. (Then takes off his hat like the respectful boy he is🤧)

•Glorious ov evolution scene

This is from right before getting attacked by one of Viktor's robot thingies. There's dust all around after being attacked. He grabs his weapon and glances around, trying to figure out what is happening (and with what face... I'M GETTING DISTRACTED). The frills move when his eyebrows frown, so I'd say that we have the same "Yes. There's definitely something there" function.

Like his ears, they react to the environment. It's like they say "Something or someone's coming. I'm sure of it.", whether it's good or bad.

Also, they always react with the ears. In both scenes they twitch while the frills act up.

In conclusion, Stebby is a communication king, the most precious boy and I'm 100% not normal about him😋
