Pioneers - Krolyn
Krolyn (G. Krohn Rasmusseni) were based in Copenhagen, Denmark and active between 1945 and 1974. They made many different types of aluminium toy figures and some of the best are the personality figures like Ivanhoe, Robin Hood. They also made vikings, cowboys, indians and the Danish Royal Guards.
Each item was given a number. Variations of the same figure had a letter added after the number and the paint was a different colour. After 1946 they absorbed the firm of Rode Orm and retained the trade mark.
The company was sold in 1958 and again in 1962 and little was heard of them after this.
