4. How did you get into kpop? Youtube recommended me a kpop mashup that was an absolute banger and made me check out the groups in that mix

5. Favourite girl group? everglow, aespa, 2ne1 (they probably don’t count but xg are my current number one, their songs just slap)

6. Favourite boy group? ateez, the boyz, monsta x

7. Who do you stan right now? mainly ateez and the boyz

8. What's your favourite kpop ship? i’m not into ships

9. Give an unpopular opinion about something kpop related? most people go to concerts for interactions and y/n moments only and don’t really care about the music or the artists.

10. Favourite solo artist? taemin, but i prefer krnb soloists, so let’s just add dean as well

11. Own any merch? if so, what? yes, it’s too much to list it here lol

12. If you could date one idol, who would it be and why? wooyoung, we have very similar interests and opinions and he knows how to treat people well. plus we can cook together and he knows how to take care of himself unlike most men lol

Dean finally gives in and clicks on the video so many people have been sending him. He’s immediately brought in by your cute smile and slightly warm cheeks.

He likes the sight but starts to get confused by why everyone was sending him the video, until the reason presents itself. Your gentle voice starts to ring across the room and it takes him a second to recognize his own song.

You put your own spin on the song when you get more comfortable, swaying slightly. You look into the camera once or twice as you sing, charming him and most likely the entire world as you sing his lyrics.

The song comes to an end and you laugh at yourself as the other hosts start complimenting you.

“It’s a good song already,” You try to move the conversation on, choosing to compliment him instead. “Anybody can sing it and it would still be a great song.”

The video ends with a close up of your blushing face, sending Dean’s heart into his throat and making his breathing speed up. He leans back and messages one of his friends that first sent the video.

‘Are you panicking? He’s cute, right?’

‘Yeah.’ Dean taps his fingers against the back of his phone. ‘I’m trying really hard to not to look him up.’

‘He’s your fan, you could probably meet him.’ ‘You don’t have to look him up and secretly follow him.’ ‘Use your connections to get his number and say you saw the show’

Dean gets halfway through his reply and another few texts come in.

‘OR better than texting, he’s friends with some singers’ ‘You can somehow meet him through friends’ ‘You saw his blush, imagine seeing it in person when you bring it up’

He bites his lip at the thought of you blushing at him and debates doing exactly that.

‘I’m guessing you’ll be taking my idea, send me pictures when you meet him.”

Dean sighs at the thought but starts for looking people you both may know, fighting himself over what he should say and how he should bring it up. Finally, he finds someone on his contact list that you have a few pictures with and pushes himself to ask about you.

‘So, I’m assuming you saw the video? You’re in luck, a group of us are going out tomorrow, you can join us and run into him’

He breathes out and thanks the person, immediately starting to overthink what’s going to happen when he sees you.

“Hey,” One of your friends nudges your arm and nods their head towards the door. “Look who’s here.”

You look up and gasp, covering your face quickly. “No one told me he was going to be here, that’s so embarrassing.”

Your friend waves at him and the other people he’s with. “You sang well and how do you even know he saw it?”

“Everyone saw it, people have been texting me about it since the episode aired.” You twirl your cup in place and sink down in the chair, shaking your head the entire time. “It’s his song, people probably sent it to him.”

“I just want to let you know that you’re making it pretty obvious that something’s up. Your blush and flustered look and the fact that you’re trying to disappear in your chair is very clear.” Your friend laughs at your groan and glances back up at the entrance of the room. “How would you react if I said he was coming over here?”

Your eyes go wide and you look up, fidgeting around in your seat.

“Smooth dude, smooth.” They muffle their laughter, looking up at Dean and his group. “Hello,”

You sink back in your seat, wondering how quickly you could leave without being noticed.

“Hey,” Dean sits across from you, looking you over once. “I saw the video of you singing Instagram, you really did it justice, made me question my version. I feel like I should’ve given you the lyrics in the first place.”

You shake your head quickly. “No, my version was nowhere near as good as the original.”

Dean smiles brightly and tilts his head to the side. “I beg to differ.”
