26 BEST ACTRESS DAYTIME: Runner Up #emmerylan Have loved her since #guidinglight where she was robbed of an Emmy! Initially I was drawn to her because she reminded me of #kristatesreau - but she has major acting chops that blew me away. #youngandrestless wasted her & I hope #generalhospital does right by her before she becomes a major star! #shamefulclutterssoapoperachallenge

26. BEST ACTRESS - Daytime SHOCKER - I have to go with my 1st & still favorite, #KristaTesreau. Growing up watching her show such amazing chops (equally adept at comedy & drama) on #guidinglight was an honor and a thrill. She was one of the most popular stars, #mindylewis was never on the back burner & was nominated for a numerous awards (specifically a Daytime Emmy that she should've won dammit). Sadly, I did not get to see much of her stint on #SantaBarbara where she played a psychotic fashion designer. And despite them never properly utilizing her, I will always love #OneLifeToLive since it enabled me to meet Krista & see her on a few occasions & we are even Facebook friends, lol. #shamefulclutterssoapoperachallenge

23. LOVE TRIANGLE - #guidinglight 's MINDY/RICK/ROXIE ❤️🔺was the first & therefore the most important in my soap opera history. This storyline was greatly enhanced by giving Mindy & Roxie a rich backstory as childhood enemies. Needless to say, they lived to catfight. Long story short, I was more into these 2 women as adversaries & loved it when they evolved into best friends. #mindylewis #kristatesreau #rickbauer #michaeloleary #roxieshayne #kristiferrell #shamefulclutterssoapoperachallenge

20. RECAST Part 2 - #mindylewis on #guidinglight When fan fave & my personal favorite #kristatesreau left the show in 1988 it would be an understatement to say that I was devastated. I had not had this happen during my now six year tenure as a soap fan & it didn't help that Tesreau had been there since the beginning. Of course, I knew she was Krista & not Mindy (unlike some soap fans) & I wanted/expected her to make it big in Hollywood. In revolt, I stopped watching GL & switched to #santabarbara & was instantly hooked (despite an initial character I was interested in being immediately raped & murdered: #AllyWalker as Andrea Bedford - she was some type of undercover government agent & childhood best friend of #EdenCapwellCastillo. My best friend was still the biggest GL fan & he told me that Mindy was coming back - albeit a recast. In my defense - I was 12. I despised #kimberlysimms - matters were made worse by the following thing: -they made the character a fashion designer (something I always wanted for Tesreau's version). -they gave her an incredible storyline that romantically paired her with #RogerThorpe who was her father's sworn enemy. -Simms proved popular with fans & made the role her own. I'm over it now (well kinda) - but boy was I pissed about this. Both Simms & Tesreau returned for guest appearances, but Tesreau's were more & she came back during the last few months of the show. 🔥 #flamesonthesideofmyface #shamefulclutterssoapoperachallenge

9. OVERRATED AF - Yes she can act, but #erikaslezak of #OneLifeToLive has always annoyed me for some reason. Case in point, I went on a botched OLTL studio tour in 1996 (LONG STORY) & I will never forget her sitting in the lobby on the steps to the dressing rooms & perhaps it was a method acting rehearsal but she was acting like a spaz (Viki was in the middle of having multiple personalities). This plus the asshole Stage Manager fucking up the tour that was supposed to be lead by my fave actress - #kristatesreau who was playing (& totally wasted) as Viki's vixen sister Tina.
