A fantastic food safari with #skålleagues from @skal_mandelabay at #otakotakpe with a positively South-Eastern flavour. Firecrackers (known as #krathak in Thai) & #nemran as starters. Taste explosions when combined with the Filipino vinegar-lime dipping sauce. The Main was something special to behold - Bangkok Beauty: consisting of perfectly prepared medium-rare Ostrich fillet on a bed of greens & mushrooms. The dressing brought this dish alive & the Sweet Potato fries were a perfect accompaniment. Dessert was a Palawan Crepe - French-style crepe woth toasted sesame seeds, banana & locally sourced honey with just the right amount of Ice-cream. The wine list designed by Meridian Wine Merchants is also impressive.
