It was getting hotter for him as the days were getting colder -- and it was the opposite for him during the summer where he felt cold instead of hot. He'd lived for millenia with this curse -- trading sanity with immortality and how he'd regretted his greed for life back during the Han Dynasty. How long had it been since then, since he could feel normally; feel the cold when it's cold and the hot when it's hot. He laid himself on piles of snow that ended up melted around him where his body had rested. He'd really wanted to feel the cold. Snow should be as cold, not as hot. He'd missed the cold snow so terribly much "Ugh, siaoooooooo can't this weather get anymore hotter?" He'd whined, cussed and complained throughout the cold winter -- but really, what was there to do when you couldn't feel the cold and always felt the warmth instead.

                                Here he is, minding his own gosh-darn business when something drops on his head. Looking up with a confused expression, grocery laden hands moving towards his hips, he wondered if maybe it had begun to rain. Though, it certainly didn't feel like rain, honestly it was a little hard and cold. Shifting his bags, he brought a hand up towards strawberry blond hair, feeling around until a finger met with something that felt like a coin. Bringing it to his face, John's suspicions were proved true. Still, he was incredibly confused towards the happening, he thought maybe it was a sign to do something nice (or maybe it could just be that whatever teenagers up there giggling up a storm were general asswipes) looking around, he made his way over to the next person he saw, tapping on their shoulder before handing them the small coin that had been placed (dropped) on his head. With a thick accent, he asked. "D'you want this?" Leave it to a once very poor man to find such a small amount of currency a blessing.
