{104} Movies Seen This Year –4 Stars

This is one of those movies I need a few days to digest. I don’t think it’s been long enough to fully form an opinion yet. I liked it, it’s odd and intimate. A young man obsessed with an older woman he watches every night. It was so unexpected to me when we reach the second act and he reveals everything, and after the initial shock, she accepts it somehow. Maybe there’s something about it that touches her unconscious, but we never quite figure out in the movie. Is she touched by how much he cares for her? Is she as lonely as he is?

Magda: ¿Quieres besarme?

Tomek: No.

Tomek: Nada.

Magda: ¿Nada?

Tomek: No, nada.
