Here I am, following you on tumblr as well (hope you don’t mind sjskaksj — just popping in to say hi).

While creeping around your blog, I saw the latest art you commissioned (yep, the one about your kotsam MCs — *heart eyes* stunning, btw) and wanted to ask if you’d like to share some facts about them? 👀 I know you probably have done it already, so feel free to ignore the second part of the ask, lol.

And of course i wouldn’t mind sharing some facts, thanks for asking!!!!

Aubrey is my softest mc! She is very sweet and kind but she can also be pretty shy and gets anxious easily. She is majoring in healing!!! Really enjoys her classes a lot!!

mmm Aubrey also likes baking and taking pictures. She owns different cameras and her room (both back home and at college) are full of pictures of her friends, family and small things she loves or that remind her of something. Oh and she also loves flowers!! her favorites are baby breath and orchids. Oh and she has a very good relationship with both of her parents and owns a cat!!!

Irina is the mum friend!!! She is extremely responsible (tries at least) and cares very deeply about those around her; always making sure her friends have eaten or are safe and whenever they get hurt because of her she feels responsible u.u She is also a nerd!!! loves readling, loves learning, studies a lot and wants to do well in classes!!! Irina is majoring in Ritual Magic and Potions and considering becoming a teacher or a scholar if she survives college lmao. Loves loves loves plants to the point she has a small greenhouse back home!!

Irina is super close with her mum but has some daddy issues she is trying to work through asjhaska. She can manipulate lightning, her wings are pure white and owns a pet dragon!!

Jenna is my spoiled brat!!!! very daddy’s girl!!!! Jenna is extremely smart (without the need of studying) and very cunning; loves annoying people and playing dumb to then make people look stupid. She can be cut-throat with people who hurt those she loves and lord, you don’t want her as an enemy! mmm she is majoring in Magical Technology!!!! We love a smart, educated, fashion knowledgeable and political queen!!!

Josie!!! my feral soul sucking baby!!! Just imagine the most terrible person ever and then multiply by 100 and you have Josie. I love them but they don’t have a single consideration for anyone other than like……two or three people. They are quite resentful towards the entire magical thing (mainly because they were taken out of their comfort zone and…constantly attacked). They don’t get on well with their parents but there is a special place of hate dedicated to their biological father kasjaka <3 Oh and they are majoring in Magic Theory (still super pissed they cant major in battle magic because “they are human” lmaoo)

And last but not least Nina!! My queen!!! I always struggle about what i should say about Nina because she has layers akasjaksj She seems very laid back and that nothing really bothers her; and in a way it does because she buries her feelings so deep until she becomes a time bomb lol and has very self-destructive tendencies. Would burn the world down if it means protecting those she loves!!! So she really struggles a lot with her public persona and “her real self”; she is pretty good at lying too and had commitment issues until leon (she still has some tho aksjaksja)

Before the events of the book she was considering majoring in art!! she is very talented and truly enjoys drawing and painting (and learning about art!!) but given that it wasn’t offered she went for Political science; a little because she didn’t know what to study and it was broad enough to cover multiple things but also because she is interested in the journalism side of it!!!

Nina loves her father, they are very close and have a very healthy relationship but absolutely hates Roxana and is scared of becoming like her. Oh and her cat is named Cordelia!!!

hello I am back once again with this, I warned you.

If your kotsam mcs were empaths but didn’t know about it until they went to NMC, would their personalities still be the same? If not, how different would it be?

I’m sorry it took me this long to answer this one! I kept going to “when I have time” and then i forget lol, so so sorry 💕 This ask is super interesting and i’ll be trying not to talk too much hahahaha

I think that in a way, all of them would be at least a little affected by it:

Aubrey: She is naturally shy and soft, so might get more into her own shell after this. Too afraid to speak more than necessary in fear of influencing someone with her powers, as she is a really emotional girl. Aubrey would probably have a hard time controlling what she feels and not having it influence others, but would try her best. Might result in her repressing a lot of her feelings

Irina: One of Irina's main personality aspects is that she can be pushy and bossy (she is the mum friend, so she sometimes can be intense). So, I think that the revelation would be a shock but she trusts her emotions enough to be under control and not influence others, however she would need to turn down her intensity when caring for others a little, so it doesn't affect them hahah

Jenna: Probably the least affected by this! Jenna might act like a fucking brat but she is someone who has an easy time keeping her emotions in check and being cold when necessary (after all, she was the only one of my girls who didn't snap when killing Reyna lmaooo). So yeah, would pretty much stay the same hahaha. The totally opposite of Roxanna hahah

Josephine: ufff boy. If someone would take advantage of this, that would be Josephine and even for the stupidest thing lol. Like, was someone being too annoying? Too bad, now that person is going to feel at the verge of crying for the rest of the day. Literal abuse of power hahaha. Idk if her personality would change much because she is already a mean bitch lmaooo

Nina: How does the saying go? "Birds of the same feather flock together"? This is Nina spiralling the same way Leon did lololol. She questions her every interaction and reality. Did she force someone to make them believe they loved her? (Which is kind of clown behavior on her part as she is conscious about how manipulative she can be with words and body language).

I think that for her the problem becomes worse when you mix her mummy issues with the fact that Roxana was also an empath and what we already talked about she being too similar in certain ways to her mum without noticing it (who she hates).

Nina would deal with this the same way she deals with everything "I pretend I do not see it" until it becomes too big to ignore; her mask and shoving her emotions at the back of the wardrobe even more prominent than before

But...she would find herself using her powers from time to time. More than necessary? Who knows

She in incredible friendly and caring. Really enjoys being around other people and having new experiences. Sometimes she trusts too easily

Has a really good relationship with her mother but doesn’t give a single fuck about a father who abandoned them

Has a dragon as a pet named Tykin

One of the only voices of reason in the group

She didn’t fall in love with Altair at first sight, yeah she found him cute and kind but they kept running into each other and being partners during classes so a small crush blossomed into really caring for him.

She isn’t exactly excited about the idea of being a Keeper but she knows there is no way out of it so better accept it and start learning how to live with it

She likes tea, love poems and plants. Has a terrible sense of direction

She is okay I guess? You would never see her on a stage but she sometimes hums while cooking or cleaning and it's acceptable enough

She can do some decent sketches of flowers and plants but it took her a lot of practice to actually get okay at it, and even then they aren't that much of a thing hahaha

Irina and Altair

18- What are their dates like? How long do/did they date? Do they ever feel the need to take a break from each other?

I think that for their dates, they enjoy going to different places they never went before and know the other will enjoy . Like, Altair in one of their first dates took Irina to this beautiful full of exotic flowers and plants; Irina took him to an exhibition about both magic and human technology; another time they went to a different town just to check the aquarium there. They also have calmer dates where they just sit together and read or study, which was what they used to do before they started dating, it feels natural.

Well they started dating in the middle of Irina freshman year (i think before christmas in book canon) and they are still dating. And not really, I think that the fact that they aren’t suitemates helps a lot, and I mean yes they are in the inside group of friends but they both have their own group inside of it. Also, for me, the fact they were friends and were used to see each other daily before dating helped a lot in learning how to give each other space when needed.

24-Any doubts about the relationship?

They don’t have doubts about each other at all, but Irina sometimes worry how being involved with her could hurt Altair, a lot of bad things keep happening around her and she doesn’t want to Altair to get mixed in the middle. She is also worried about the hole Nephilim vs Cambion thing, especially after what happened last year with Secretary Monroe

Sophie and Adam

25-How much time do they spend together? Do they share their feelings, or hold things in?

Well, because of work they spend A LOT of time together and despite barking to each other a lot, they don’t really mind. Well Adam is clearly a repressed brick wall so we already know how that goes hahaha, Sophie KNOWS she likes Adam (perhaps she can admit to herself it’s even more than just “like”) but she is also EXTREMELY proud, so after Adam constant negation about his feelings Sophie refuses to share her feelings until he takes a step, she won’t make a fool of herself. His action during the carnival at the end of book 2 are perhaps a step in the right direction for both of them

35- Do they bring out the best in each other, or the worst? Do they have a fatal flaw?

At this stage of the relationship: both. Sophie brings Adam softer side and makes him open a little to the world around him, enjoying the little things and not being as stiff, but she also brings his brusque side and makes him exasperated easily. Adam can sometimes calm reckless side and teach her how to work in a team, she doesn’t need to everything by herself now. Their fatal flaw: they are both super stubborn omg!!!! they both think they are right and will go and on about a topic against each other, trying to prove the other one is in the wrong lol

i'm literally reworking my whole kotsam oc (she remains the same but a bit different still), to then replay both games and start book 3 i am so excited!! do you several kotsam ocs? also who are they romancing i'm so curious!!

Hi Emie 💕 YEEES, MORE PEOPLE INTO KOTSAM!!! hahahah

And omg yeah, I have several MCs!

Nina is a kitsune and my main favorite girl (I can't wait to put her through hell during book 3, she is already half there aksjsksk). She is romancing Leon

I then have Aubrey who is a magician. She has been growing up so much as character inside my head for the last months and i love her so much, my nice but pathetic girl 😭 She is romancing Yakov. I also have Jenna who is a cambion romancing Cyrus and Irina who is a Nephilim and is romancing Altair

Finally I have Josephine who is a hunter and is a especially case. Originally they started romancing Kol and it was nice because they balanced each other quite well (Josephine is very hard around the edges) but lately I have been thinking they would work better with Thalia or single and going through a feral killing spree, we will see how it goes (I love them so much, my killer kid aksjs).

I also do some playthrough with these MCs with other ROs so I can check the other sub plots but these are their main ones!

I'm also curious about your MC and who they are romancing!!! And thank you so much for asking 💕💕💕💕

Hello anon!!! Sorry for the late reply! I have exams starting soon so I have been all over the place right now 🥴

Regarding my mcs: Nina it's a kitsune, Irina is a nephilim, Jenna a cambion, Josephine a human (hunter) and Aubrey is also human (magician)

Funnily enough, Josephine was originally a drakaina but it did not fit her personality AT ALL, it felt weird, but then I played the hunter route and realized she was perfect for it 🥰

Regarding their reactions:

Obviously the three of them were shocked, surprised and freaked out to a certain degree because it was life changing information

I think Irina would be fascinated tho! She is someone who likes KNOWING stuff so she really started digging for information and all the possibilities being a nephilim (an angel descendant!!!!) brought her! So yeah, super interested with the information behind what she is

Jenna likes acting like a brat and drama queen but it's honestly really chill and analytically when the situation requires. So she was like "okay give me 5 minutes to process this information…..okay I'm fine, what now?" I think Jenna would ask herself how she never noticed it before, like the signs must have been there at some point. But after that she is *mostly* chill

To no one's surprise, Nina is the most affected, but only to a certain degree. I mean her entire life has been turned upside down after almost being killed lmao. After the initial shock passes she would find it cool, i mean transforming into a kitsune just sounds really cool! Nina is still a little weary and resistant around everything but has grown to accept her species and the powers that it brings her with gusto

Small bonus: Aubrey was extremely disappointed to learn she was human 😂
