Behold: the Elvin flag

The meaning behind the colors:

Pink - Oralie special abilities.

Red - Darek and Fintan the blood of enemies that didn’t have to be spilled due to their negotiating skill

Orange - Kenric wealth

Yellow - Sunlight

Green - Alina and Terik the elves’ indefinite life span

Teal - Clarette the Vackers because that’s how famous they are

Blue - Emery, Fallon, and about half a Noland Blue eyes

Purple - Velia and the other half of Noland Purple is traditionally used to represent European royalty, so it would make sense for the Elves to use it too

Together, the colors also represent the entire visible spectrum of light, which enforces how important light is to the Elves

The Trollish flag:

Color meanings:

There are 7 stripes, representing the 7 stages of the Trollish life cycle

Teal - strength

Blue - intelligence

As one fades into the other, so too does their strength and intelligence flip as they age

The middle line is white because stage 4 is the prime stage. White is typically used to represent purity, so this is the purest stage of the Trollish life cycle.

The Ogre Flag:

Color meanings:

Dark green: the Eventide river

Light green: microbiology

White: Dimitar’s marshmallow fluff brain The King

Yellow: yellow sometimes represents fear, so featuring it prominently is a show of courage

Goldenrod: superiority over the Goblins because it’s on the bottom and it’s gold, the metal most associated with the Goblins

The Dwarven Flag:

Color meanings:

Brown: topsoil

Orange: clay soil

Yellow: sandy soil

Tan: silty soil

White: the blinding outside world

Gray: rocks found while digging around

Black: bedrock and magsidan

The paw print in the corner represents how good the dwarves are at tracking

The Goblin Flag:

Color meanings:

Yellow - gold

White - the thinness of the atmosphere at high elevations (we don’t need as much oxygen as you so we’re cooler than you)

Purple - serving the elves as royal bodyguards

Black - the Andes Mountains. They’ve got over 200 active volcanoes so there is bound to be dark igneous rock somewhere nearby.

The Gnomish Flag:

Color meanings:

This is a lot like the concept behind the Ukrainian flag. The top half of that one is blue and represents the sky and the bottom half is yellow representing a field of grain. It’s a landscape.

Dark green - trees / assorted tall plants

Light green - bushes / assorted short plants

White - the sun because gnomes photosynthesize

Light and Dark pink - flowers. The repetition of the idea represents the diversity in plant life
