Finished! Original old school chalk pastel on pavement - known as street painting. Getting back to my pastel roots at the 25th Lake Worth Street Painting Festival. This piece was done in homage of women (in art) everywhere. Using 19th century paintings by Ingres & Reynolds, I reworked several paintings of women into my own composition. Reconstructing the past to bring in the future......and I managed to finish this one before the rain came.
