Bonjour ! I was tagged by @proskenion04 (coquinette !)
1. Which book has been on your shelves the longest?
Hmmm... I’m not sure but I think maybe Coraline by Neil Gaiman
2. What is your current read, your last read and the book you’ll read next?Current read : Spellbound (Grimnoir Chronicles #2) by Larry Correia
Last read: The Prince by Machiavelli
Next read: Not sure yet but probably Heaven’s Net Is Wide from a Tale of the Otori series, by Lian Hearn
3. Which book does everyone like and you hated?
I didn’t really like Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Caroll. I guess it was just too weird for me, and I didn’t have enough references to understand much about it, so it didn’t click with me at all. I still think it’s an interesting universe, though.
4. Which book do you keep telling yourself you’ll read, but you probably won’t?
I’m interested in reading In Search of Lost Time by Marcel Proust, but yeah... Not sure I actually will someday.
5. Which book are you saving for retirement?
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Idk. I guess i’ll read lots of cheesy romance/erotica novels, it’s not like I already do
6. Last page: read it first or wait till the end?
I usually wait until the end.
7. Acknowledgements: waste of ink and paper or interesting aside?
Interesting aside.
8. Which book character would you switch places with?
I have no idea. I like them better in the movie than in the book, so I don’t know if that’s cheating, but I’d like to be one of the pirates from Stardust by Neil Gaiman.
9. Do you have a book that reminds you of something specific in your life (a person, a place, a time)?
Flowers For Algernon by Daniel Keyes reminds me of the friend who gave me this book.
10. Name a book you acquired in some interesting way.
Hmmm... My aunt works in a library, and everytime we visit her, she lends/gives us books that she thinks we’re gonna like, and she’s always on point. She’s the one who gave me Coraline, and another one that I really liked at the time, the Declaration by Gemma Malley
11. Have you ever given away a book for a special reason to a special person?
I don’t think so...
12. Which book has been with you to the most places?
The Harry Potter books, I guess.
13. Any required reading you hated in high school that wasn’t so bad ten years later?
I haven’t read again the books I read in high school. But thinking about it now, Bel Ami by Maupassant, and les Fleurs du Mal by Charles Baudelaire were pretty good (but I didn’t hate them in the first place anyway)
14. What is the strangest item you’ve ever found in a book?
My friends leave plenty of things in the books they lend to me, like old photographs or postcards, train tickets, etc...
15. Used or brand new?
Both. I do care more than I should about whether the cover looks cool or not, though.
16. Stephen King: Literary genius or opiate of the masses?
Literary genius, if I have to choose. I don’t see how him being popular and having an easy to read style should mean that he’s not a good writer. He wrote some of the most mindfucking stories I’ve ever read.
17. Have you ever seen a movie you liked better than the book?
Well... Stardust. But I also watched the movie before reading the book, so maybe that should be taken into account.
18. Conversely, which book should NEVER have been introduced to celluloid?
Battle Royale by Koshun Takami. I know a lot of people love the movie, but it was such a huge disapointment to me. I’m not gonna go into too much details because it could be very long, but yeah... I don’t like this movie. Not as an adaptation from this book anyway.
19. Have you ever read a book that’s made you hungry, cookbooks being excluded from this question?
The banquets in Harry Potter really sounded amazing, I guess.
20. Who is the person whose book advice you’ll always take?
My sister, I think. And most of my friends know what I like, so I think I can trust their advice.
I tag @seanconneraille, @artemis69, @jaiga, @lighthousemine, @psyducktiv3, @breadstyx, @jadisjavaisuncoeur, @helioosworld and anyone else who wants to do it!

The Book Feels Tag
I was tagged by @theprintedgirl , thank you!!! I’ll try not to talk about Harry Potter only, I swear (Harry doesn’t believe me)
Tumblr media
A book that made you smile or laugh :
Emma by Jane Austen. Cute love stories make me smile like an idiot, that's all. I couldn't stop myself.
A book that made you sad or want to cry :
This one is hard, i don't easily cry when reading, also i like being sad. I'll go with Chocola & Vanilla by Moyoco Anno. Yes, it's not a book, it's a manga, but if we’re talking crying, this is the one story that made me cry so much at the end, because i was so sad it was over.
A book that you love :
Are you asking me to choose juste ONE book ?? Insane ! Harry P.... no,  i’ll go with The Post Office Girl by Stefan Zweig, but also shout out to the Voyage of the Dawn Treader, it was unexpectedly awesome.
A book that you didn’t particularly like :
I tend to erase bad books from my memory so... Maybe this one book that i had to read in litterature class and that i hated so much....Yeah, definitely that one. The book That-Shall-Not-Be-Named.
A book that was made into a movie that you like :
Lord of the Rings (see, I didn’t say Harry Potter again!)
A book that was made into a you didin’t like :
Harry Potter and the goblet of fire. I know, i wasn't supposed to use the Harry Potter series, but damn, how angry i was when i first saw the movie! So many characters and events and things that were not put into it!! I’m still mad about it!
A book you have mixed feelings about :
No idea.
A book you haven’t read but are totally excited about :
The second part of Fool’s Assassin and then Fool’s Quest. The Realm of the Elderlings all the way.
A book that made you angry :
I can’t choos between Animal Farm by George Orwell or Battle Royale by Koshun Takami. Injustice enrages me.
A book you feel you can relate to :
Again, The Post Office Girl.
