solar opposites is better than rick and morty because instead of being extremely toxic and hateful towards their family members these alien dudes are always super happy to remember that theyre all a little family

#everytime they mention theyre family i :') because its always just genuinely pretty sweet #korvo and terry fighting over stupid shit their past selves said about the other only to see the replicants and be like aww why #are we fighting were family #jesse like its always nice to do things as a family :)#sidenote jesse is so good theyre all good but jesse deserves the world #also it still has some of tthe same rnm vibes while overall being less mean spirited #for the most part of lot of the destruction they cause is an accident and they do try to fix it. sometimes for mildly selfish reasons #ie fixing the time stream and because people will hate them and they just want to be liked #honestly if i had to pick my least favorite part of the show itd be the principal and the teacher what is up with that whole bit #honestly i feel like the meanest character is yumyulak but you can argue hes a young frustrated teen going through frustrated teen things #theres jokes here and there im like ok yall could have just. not. but its less frequent than rick and morty granted its only a small season #1 in but im hoping itll keep up this similar streak i feel like everyone sees it and immediately just based on style #equate it to rick and morty when theyre. really pretty different overall but maybe that also means itll keep some of the annoying rnm fans #away like dont even look at this show /
