Of course! Info is info.
[He drove to the address while talking more about the case.
The person appeared to be home but was also not very friendly. They gave the information that it was their day off. They confirmed that an arrow was indeed missing from the statue, and that hasn't happened before. As for who did it, there were more possibilities. The victim was soon to get a promotion, which could cause jealousy in the workplace. Kojak wrote it all down.]
Well that give us some leads right? Maybe this will be an easier case!
-Detective Kojak Noir
Not everything is what it seems, we still need to find the arrow which done it, check it for fingerprints and such.

I have this oc named Kojak Noir who is a detective partner to Gumshoe. I'm currently writing a medieval AU of the two but idk if I'll ever post it because I'm afraid lol
-gumshoe Anon
that sounds so interesting and cool! i’d absolutely love to read it if you ever do post it
but i get it! it took me forever to start a blog of my own and post publicly because i was scared. i didn’t think my writing was anything amazing (and i still don’t tbh) so i didn’t wanna post. but it’s a leap of faith!
don’t feel pressured into posting it publicly or feel like you have to- do it if you wanna! but i will support you 100% :)

Doyle says, "Once I settled on the concept, I started hunting down any and all of the TV and movie themes having to do with detectives and spies, while trying to avoid obvious ones like "Peter Gunn," which has been done to death, and "Perry Mason," which I had already recorded on the first Guitar Noir album. I ended up choosing the themes that were most melodic and dramatic, since melody is to me the most important thing in an instrumental album. I uncovered some absolutely amazing music: Nelson Riddle's "The Untouchables," Elmer Bernstein's "Johnny Staccato" and Dave Grusin's "It Takes a Thief" are only three examples. When I ran out of things that moved me, I had to write two pieces that hopefully fulfill the criteria and stay true to the genre." The album also contains two pieces outside of the concept - Frank Zappa's "America Drinks and Goes Home" (arranged as a ballad) and Louis Cole's "Everytime." These were the first two pieces recorded before the Detectives concept had been finalized, and Doyle felt that they were too strong to let go of. Mark Doyle has had a distinguished career in the music business since his first band, Jukin’ Bone, was signed to RCA while Mark was in his late teens. He’s gone on to make records as guitarist or producer with David Werner, Cindy Bullens,Andy Pratt, Leo Sayer, Hall & Oates, Judy Collins, Meat Loaf, Bryan Adams, and Mary Fahl and has provided string arrangements for numerous recordings by the likes of New Kids On The Block, The Cavedogs, The Stylistics, andTiffany. He currently leads his own band, Mark Doyle & The Maniacs, who have released six albums and play consistently throughout the Northeast, and tours as Music Director/guitarist/pianist for former October Project singer Mary Fahl. - Praise for Mark Doyle’s first Guitar Noir - “Bridging the gap between soundtracks, jazz and rock is no easy task, yet in the hands of Mark Doyle & Co., the results are engaging and often spectacular.” - Robert Silverstein, 20th Century Guitar “Doyle lays down some nasty notes and tones. A gorgeous cover of “When I Fall In Love” shows him to be master of volume swells and sweet, stinging sustain.” - John Heidt, Vintage Guitar “By fearlessly venturing into musical territory that is surely foreign to many of his peers, Doyle has notched an impressive artistic achievement.” - Russ Tarby, Syracuse New Times - Praise for In Dreams: Guitar Noir II - "It doesn’t get much better than this. A great idea and perfect execution make this the latest in a long line of fine instrumental albums from Doyle. He produced the CD, played all the instruments, and came up with a great concept that works from the first track through cut 11."

My #1 post of 2022
I fear I may have to get another root canal and crown the way my tooth is going. My insurance doesn't cover crowns and that's around $700. I will draw commissions! I will also draw profile pictures or anything else you'd like!
DM me for details and I will share examples of my work since my Tumblr blog doesn't have all of my stuff.

I was debating on posting it because I'm a little embarrassed about posting suggestive art but I was too proud of this to pass up.
[ID: A troll with dark grey skin, light grey chest, and light grey chin laying down and looking forward. He has teal horns, along with teal markings on his torso, arms, and legs. His ears are similar to cow ears and the inside is also teal. The markings appear to be glowing. One eye is partially opened and is solid teal.
He has a dark grey long tail going to the left. His right arm (on the left of the drawing) is angled upwards and he has his hand on the top of his head, tangled in his hair. His left arm (on the right of the drawing) is laying flat. His hair is shoulder length and black.
He is looking up at the camera with a sleepy expression and his position appears to be laying down with one leg propped up. He is naked, but has a natural light grey covering on his crotch. There is a teal marking at the top of the shell covering. END ID.]

Good, thank you! I will never understand why people are rude during investigations. But it's just a part of the job I guess.

I never understood it myself. although I am grateful I at least got some information.
