Also! the representation, ND and queer, just like me -bad joke, sorry-. 

With the bear thing, reminds me of Morinaga, from Koi Suru Boukun, like this huge bear that can be caring, clingy and all sweet, but then he gets mad and you feel like running the other side until reaching other state.

I love characters who are badass but aren’t afraid of showing they care about others, and that just makes them even better. 

And for the backstory, I came up with this; we know a werecoyote passes a part of their power at birth, but what happens if the mother is already dying? Maybe his parents were caught by hunters, his mom was weak after an interrogation sesion, the extremely high stress triggered birth and she dies, but because his father was human there’s a chance he could be, so one of the hunters feels remorse and takes the baby away, not without asking his name at the dying mom, then he stays with him, raising him for a few years as his own, buuut, as it turns out later, he is a werecoyote and the hunter doesn’t know what to do with him, if he keeps him is gonna be killed as soon as he displays his powers and the others notice, they already loves him but canot keep him, so he goes to the system. Good thing is, his biodad is still looking for him.

Orrrr. when he was 2 yo (when Monroe and her army rose) his family was attacked, maybe next to a river -lets go biblical here-and he is thrown into the stream during the fight, as if by miracle he makes it alive to the next town, but because his family was caught by hunters there’s nobody to go look for him and he ends in the system. 

Is late and is all I got rn but I hope it helps or lits a spark of inspiration for the backstory
