IT HAS STARTED!!! The first international crowd funding campaign to help fund and support the reconstruction of Kobane! The aim for this first project is to collect $130, 000 in the space of 30 days! the project will be entirely funded by people with the support of a non for profit organisation (meaning they will not take any of the donated money for themselves) FireFund. ONLY when the $130, 000 target is reached will your donation be accepted. If the targeted goal is not reached in the 30 days 100% of your money will be refunded to you! Everyone can donate and we can by pass the red tape, the government grants, the months of waiting for project and application writing, and the money will 100% go directly to Kobane as endorsed by The Kobane Reconstruction Board! The minimum amount you can donate is $4. Even if you cannot afford to donate PLEASE circulate widely with friends to increase the exposure rate of the project. Every dollar counts. Please donate.

A hashtag campaign has also started with the tag ‪#‎FireFundKobane‬. We need to raise awareness so please participate in the tweets by writing original tweets.

This is only the start! When we reach the $130, 000 mark we can commence other projects to crowd fund other essential projects for the reconstruction of Kobane. Through solidarity we can rebuild Kobane.
