KINGDOM OF ASH SPOILER

Okay so it seems everyone is in agreement that Aelin 100% saw Rhys and Feyre when she was falling between worlds. A lot of people seem to imagine Aelin actually falling as herself, but from the way Rhys casually waved and sent magic to help her, I immediately assumed it was starfall and Aelin was appearing as a light. Correct me if I missed something, but I think this was Sarah's clever way of answering Rhys' question of what the lights at starfall were. Maybe Aelin was a once off, or they're other world walkers?

Now Aelin doesn’t have any scars left. The scars from everything that she suffered in her life, from Endovier to her promise to Nehemia, are gone.

As painful as it was..

I love the moment when Dorian and Manon reunite and he holds her as she expressed how she misses them..

She allows herself to be vulnerable with Dorian.

A lot of people dont understand that. For Manon her whole life she's had this face of unyielding and unbreakable strength and fierce-ness. However she lets herself be vulnerable with him. She lets her guard down and is just a girl with him. That's why in EoS she liked it when he took the reins and in KoA they even mentioned that she especially enjoyed that.

She feels free when she's with him. She trusts him to not let her fall.

Obviously she's still having trouble expressing it all the time because of her upbringing but I know they'll get there. I honestly think they need one more book. I really want to read about them finally letting go and learning together like Rowaelin did.

1. that ending added seventy happy years onto my lifespan

3. the three scenes i cried most at were: manon being crowned crochan queen with her crown of stars; witches all over the wastes kissing their families goodbye and flying to war, and the light that shone from the thirteen as they yielded so that manon and the others may live I DIDNT KNOW I CARED THAT MUCH FOR THEM

4. aelin making her own way out of the camp and so smoothly fighting the far soldiers

5. fenrys, god boyo i love him so much. the love in his sacrifice to protect aelin

6. ELORCAN WAS ALL I WANTED ACTUALLY. when elide flew across the plain i was on the verge ok. they’re so pure and i love it

You know what's the worse, even after all those months since KoA was released?

They all went their own way. They will never met again in the same squad.

Aelin stayed with her court in Terrasen.

Dorian with Chaol and Yrene went back to Adarlan.

Nesryn with Sartaq returned to Antica.

Manon flew to Witch Kingdom.

Ansel, Galan, Ilias, Rolfe...

There will be meetings, of course, but never with all at the same time. There will never be a party like the one after Aelin's coronation.

Never.

And that's heartbreaking.

KOA Heartbreak 1

I still can’t get over Aelin losing her scars. All those symbols of abuse, mistreatment, and survival just....gone.

When I first read it I stopped breathing for a minute and had to reread it twice. It really just broke me.

Can we talk about ToG series?

Spoilers ahead for KoA ... do not keep going if you haven't read KoA

I just finished reading KoA three days ago and I have never experienced a book hangover this bad. I dont want this to be the end. I need more time. The writing is so exquisite and the characters so superbly realistic and flawed to perfection and I cannot accept that this is the end.

My heart still aches over the loss of the Thirteen. I sobbed hysterically while reading that scene. Nothing wrecked me anywhere close to the way this wrecked me. I am still in disbelief and denial about it. I am still grieving their loss.

I miss Gavriel and the Thirteen. I wish we had met Vaughn. I wish Connal was alive and okay.

I want a spin off series in the southern continent with Sartaq and Nesryn.

I just want more. I need more.

I need more time with these wonderful, beautiful characters. I need more time to help rebuild Perranth and Terrason and Adarlan. I need to watch Aelin and Rowan be happy and have a family for more than just a chapter. I NEED this.
