𝓜𝓮𝓮𝓽𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓡𝓸𝓼𝓪. 💛 I have been teaching students online for almost a decade, and with that time, I have learned to accept that there is a massive chance that I won't really get to see my students in person. Some of them have visited the Philippines, but most of the time, they go either to Cebu or Boracay. Rosa studied with me for about a year. She took a break once for medical reasons, but after that, she came back to me. I was overjoyed. She became comfortable in class, and she enjoyed telling me stories about her family, her friends, and even some of her beloved pets (though she knows I don't like them, she's okay with it). She was often enthusiastic in class. She still listened attentively when I had something to say. However, I had to quit. She told me that she was going to miss me and she happily gave me her phone number so that we could stay in touch. My last day of work was a few days before her birthday so she was sad that she wouldn't be able to tell me all about it in class anymore, but she told me that she would send me photos of her birthday celebration, and so she did. On August second, I received these messages from Rosa ...

To be honest, of all the students that I had, I didn't really expect that Rosa would be the student that I would meet in person for the first time. I also felt honored when she said this ...
