This is what the Sequoias looked like after the #RoughFire when I visited the Forest in April 2016. I was shocked by how much was charred. I pray the #KNPComplexFire doesn't take as long to contain, 99days is quite a long time to get a fire under control.

It's hard to describe just how big The Sentinal tree is in Sequoia National Park..but let's try. The Sentinel is the 21st largest tree in the park and it stands 257-feet tall at 6418-feet elevation.
