That next day feeling after working you butt off behind the screen in the gym and in the house! Yeah completely washed, complete bliss! I get to do this everyday! At the loudest volume of myself! Pure wow! Super thankful for all the wondrous blessings. I know we can’t always go all out but if you start with small wins and just keep pushing and pushing you’ll see those little wins change to big wins change to wonder and magic everyday! Break the mold and keep loving the progress! #blessed #tiredbuthappy #workyourdream #knowyouroutcome #chaseyourdream! #crushingmyownlimits #daily https://www.instagram.com/p/CC-hsl1DX1v/?igshid=1vyrlif1f0wea

Anyone know what kind of flowers these are? They’ve lasted a couple weeks and I was about to toss them but they were still fresh looking so I trimmed and put them in a bowl. I admit I’m really challenged in the botany department so I felt proud of myself that I thought to extend THESE beauties by pruning them rather than chucking. Now if one of YOU beauties could just come and prune my eyebrows I’d be even prouder! (see pic 2) 🤮 My past posts have been about the essentials for goal setting, sticking with self care and dealing with challenge. Today I want to share a quick goal hack and that is to know your outcome. Know where you’re going and know what would make your efforts worthwhile. For example, I’m about to do a 10 day silent retreat next week and knowing my outcome is essential as it might be the difference in chucking the thing in the too hard basket or pressing on. My outcome is actually quite simple. I’m in a solid and stable place in my life and not expecting anything lifechanging or transformative. This good place comes from daily self care practices whether yoga, meditation, journaling or learning French! I don’t wait til I’m jumping out of my skin for a time out. This retreat is to deepen my practice and learn things. So the outcome I’d like to have is a better understanding of how my mind works without the normal inputs and distractions of every day life. That would be cool to know and this is an extremely rare opportunity to find out. Knowing my outcome will be something I’ll remind myself every day. If you’re working on something important right now or facing a daunting challenge, what would be en epic outcome for you? Keep that clear in your mind and use it as a driver to help you stay steady, doing the work to where you want to get to, one step at a time. Okay, time for me to get a good outcome for these caterpillars over my eyeballs. Getting your brows done for a meditation retreat is normal right?🐛🤪🐛 PS I’m Susan Paget and I love exploring ways to make the second half of life a meaningful adventure.
