The Kiss Quotient by @hhoangwrites is a light romance novel with a heroine with autism who hires an escort to help her with love. . Michael chose the profession because of his personal issues but in reality he helps his mom with managing a dry cleaning establishment. There is a business agreement between him and Stella that soon turns into love. . I like Stella's POV and how she looks at the daily interactions. I admit, I don't know much about autism which is why I love when I find it in romance novels. Michael is patient, loving and caring and is a perfect match for Stella even though he believes he is not the right man for her. . 4-4.5 ⭐ I recommend! If you like this one, read a historical novel called The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie by Jennifer Ashley. Don't know why but this book (Captain Jack's Woman) has been on my mind a lot lately so I had to pick it up again 😁 and now I can hardly put it down... Fotka je malo švoh, ker sem slikala v zadnjih izdihljajih baterije. Iz neznanega razloga dokaj polna baterija in mraz ne pašeta skupaj, zato so procenti baterije v desnem zgornjem kotu kar hitro poniknili. Sneg je pa še ostal nekaj časa :) . 📚 . Saved a post from a fellow bookstagrammer a long time ago. I like this challenge (see hashtag in the Slovene paragraph). It means you find a book with one word in a title, then two, then three and so on and so on. I managed to find titles with seven words although I'm never sure with English words if prepositions like a/the/of count as a word. Nevertheless, I counted them as such. Honestly, I'm not a fan of long titles. I prefer short ones than the ones that are long as a snake and fill half of the cover. How about you? #womenoncovers challenge. I have a lot more but I picked 8 most interesting. Since I'm only reading romance there are a lot of women, couples or abs on covers.😜 I love historical romance novels because they have these beautiful dresses on covers (Hoyt, Dare, Quinn, eng MacLean). The old Laurens's books includes women that have in my opinion too much makeup. Whenever I look at Slovenian version of MacLean's book I always think it's a man on the cover (with very good makeup btw). I have no idea why the publisher picked up a pin up girl for Kinsella's book. I've read the book twice but maybe I forgot... Back on Instagram after a couple of days 😊 I am usually on it 24/7 but then comes a day or eight when I only glance at it but I'm too lazy to look through it. Ever felt like that? 😁 . I used the time to read Riven Knight by Devney Perry. I didn't love it as the first book. Basically, half of the book is about a secret that only MCs know and is unknown to the reader. It's very frustrating to read when you don't know what is the story behind their action. So the first half of the book dragged for me. I finished it today and I need a little time off from this series so now I'm left wondering what to read next again. Maybe an ARC? . On the other hand - loved Grayson's Vow! Q: Do you love illustrated covers? Why yes/no? . I am asking that because I see lots of covers like that on NetGalley. I feel like it's trending in the past year. I've never seen so much illustrated covers before; when I first started NetGalley. I don't mind it, for example this book from my shelf has a really beautiful cover but I still prefer non-illustrated more. I don't know why, maybe because it makes the MCs more real (if there are people on the cover that is)? But I find it interesting how similar illustrated books look - bold colour, not many elements on the cover and some simple (but amazing) font for a title.
