Fantasy AU ＼(＾▽＾)／

Got some ideas for a tog medieval fantasy AU that I wanted to share!!

Takes place in a medieval time period but with more magic and without all the disease n stuff

Bam is a farmer who is currently a knight in training

Khun is a witch and his familiar is a phoenix

Wangnan is a classic thief/rogue type character

Hatz is a ranger/hunter or a blacksmith

Endorsi and Anaak are runaway princesses

Shibisu is an apothecary (basically a merchant that studies and sells plants, but can also act as a doctor)

Rak is a dragon. Chibi Rak,,is a smaller dragon 🥺

Bam started training to become a knight in his village after his childhood friend Rachel went missing. He hopes to become strong enough to go and look for her.

Shibisu travels around the lands selling medicinal herbs/remedies. He’s also a storyteller (he hears lots of fables/stories from many places and tells it to more people).

Bam first hears the story of a sleeping princess in a tower from listening to Shibisu. There is a large reward for being able to wake her from the curse. Shibisu needs the money so he’s recruiting people to help him save the princess

After Bam and Shibisu are able to recruit Hatz, Endorsi and Anaak, Bam gets into a fight and Khun saves him, revealing that he can use magic in the process. Witchcraft is looked down upon so Khun joins their party and they run away

They are able to find the kingdom where the princess’ tower is. They meet the person who has put herself temporarily in charge of the kingdom. Her name is Yura and she is a friend of the princess.

They learn that the tower actually has a magical barrier surrounding it. It can only be broken by the fire from a dragon, and it seemed impossible because dragons were really rare.

But Khun mentions that he’s heard stories about a dragon, who lives near a volcano in an abandoned area near the kingdom. They find and recruit Rak :D

Y’know how in every story, there’s this old man/mentor figure that helps everyone train and stuff? Yeah that’s Hwaryun and she’s basically a cooler Gandalf

Finally after Hwaryun’s vicious training, the group finds and enters the tower. One by one, a party member has to stay behind and fend off a monster until Bam is the only one left

He reaches the top of the tower and the princess turns out to be Rachel. He goes to rescue her...when she suddenly pushes him out the window

That hair color...That...can’t possibly be Bam can it. There’s no way he got that hot. No way. Holy shit. Whew...well that’s the end of the prologue for Tower of God! I gotta say...while I do have some issues with the pacing, I am intrigued for the next season. Finding out what The Deal is with all these characters, especially Rachel...seeing this world come together and all the depths plumbed...I can tell I only got just a taste so far! Two things in particular I hope for next time: finding out more about Rak, and the Lero and Quant Investigations team. Rak is fun as all hell but I still want to know his story - even if it just pure blood knighting. Lero and Quant, meanwhile, are two character types who can play off each other incredibly well, and having them bounce into the picture from time to time to shake things up...*chef’s kiss*. I’m also still invested in Chibinaak’s story and now that Endorsi is strung up in it too...yeah that one’s definitely going places. Overall, I’d say this episode, and this season, both get an 8/10. The next show I’m going to start is BNA. I’m going to try to get back to a proper liveblog for that but might have to queue it again. See ya’ll soon!
