After the cute daddy-daughter duo won $5,000 for Autism Speaks by competing on the USA Network series, Fatone opened up to ET about the challenges he and his wife, Kelly, have faced with Kloey’s autism.

“It has tested us a lot. She’s on the spectrum of autism and there are all different types, so everyone handles their child differently, but we handle it as we go, like most parents,” shared Fatone, who also has a 16-year-old daughter, Briahna. “The things that I was able to simply explain or express to Briahna when she was young, I have to kind of take a different approach with Kloey, for her to understand.”

During the episode, Fatone shared that Kloey has high-functioning autism (HFA), meaning she is considered cognitively "higher functioning" than others with the condition.

The diagnosis isn’t stopping the gorgeous girl from hitting the spotlight with her dad. She had a blast on the series, which sees celebrities pair up with their kids and compete against other teams to see who knows each other best.

While Fatone, 40, is no stranger to the camera, thanks to a varied singing, acting and hosting career, he predicts Kloey may also catch the entertainment bug. “[Doing Big Star Little Star] was very exciting and I was happy she had a great time and wasn’t nervous,” he said. “That kid has no fear.”

“Briahna wants nothing to do with the entertainment industry, but I do feel like Kloey could be my little entertainer,” Fatone continued. “I will help her out and support her totally, but I won’t be a stage dad! The biggest thing I hope they learn [from my career] is that anything is possible.”

Speaking of his career, despite being best known for his time with “It’s Gonna Be Me” crooners *NSYNC, he admitted Kloey doesn’t yet have a grasp of her dad’s iconic boy band status. When asked by show host Cat Deeley if she and Fatone would be “in sync” during the competition, Kloey confessed she’d never heard the term. “You know what *NSYNC is, right?” asked Fatone, to which she adorably replied, “Nope!”

While the group’s fandom remains strong 15 years after they parted ways, Fatone noted his boy band fame is less intrusive to family life these days. “When Briahna was younger it was difficult because it was the height of our career,” he explained. “Kloey still doesn’t grasp the idea. She sees daddy on TV and still doesn’t really get it. She thinks all daddy does is go on big planes and travel.”

Indeed, between filming movies like My Fat Greek Wedding 2 and Dead 7, appearing in commercials, hosting shows including Rewrapped, making cameos on fellow boy bander Joey McIntyre’s sitcom Return of the Mac, philanthropic work and opening a hot dog joint called Fat One’s Hot Dogs and Italian Ice, Fatone has spent substantial time traveling since Kloey was born.

However, when he is at home, he remains a doting dad, referring to himself as “Mr. Mom” and sharing how he tricks Kloey into eating vegetables by processing them into a soupy texture and mixing them into dishes like mac-n-cheese!

The biggest challenge that comes with playing Mr. Mom to two daughters?

“That’s just it -- they’re daughters,” laughs Fatone. “I know things from a male perspective and they need the female perspective. It’s especially challenging with a 16-year-old.”

*NSYNC Fans Camp Out Ahead of Boy Band’s Hollywood Walk of Fame Ceremony

*NSYNC fans camped out overnight in Hollywood ahead of the boy band’s induction on the Walk of Fame on Monday.

A queue of fans began forming around 6.30 p.m. on Sunday and was winding around the block by the time Monday morning rolled around.

The mainly female crowd enjoyed singalongs and donned throwback merchandise including T-shirts from the group’s 2000 No Strings Attached tour.

The quintet, comprised of JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, Justin Timberlake, Chris Kirkpatrick and Lance Bass, will receive the Hollywood Walk of Fame’s 2,636th star, which will sit alongside the stars of fellow male vocal groups the Backstreet Boys, New Kids on the Block and Boyz II Men.

To celebrate the achievement, the group opened up the Dirty Pop-Up store, featuring fun photo opportunities and merchandise. ET caught up with Chasez at the store to find out what people can expect from the Walk of Fame ceremony.

“It’s not really about us -- we’re happy to be there, but at that point that star is mainly for the fans,” Chasez, 41, said. “The fans made this happen and that’s why we did something like this. They gave us the opportunity to share our music with people and it was important for us to do something for them.”

Chasez also revealed that, like many fans attending the ceremony, the group had already discussed what to wear!

“We agreed on dressy casual,” shared the musician, who has put out solo music, written and produced songs for acts including the Backstreet Boys and launched an all-female group, Girl Radical, since splitting with *NSYNC.  “So, we’re not necessarily going to match. [We’ve] spoken amongst ourselves and said, ‘You know what, let’s do dressy casual -- don’t show up looking like you threw on your bathrobe.'"

On the eve of the ceremony -- which will stream online at 11 a.m. PST -- fans who weren’t in line hit up the second of Timberlake’s two Man of the Woods concerts at The Forum in Los Angeles.

Before Timberlake hit the stage, crowds of concertgoers gathered outside the venue and sang along to the *NSYNC hit, “Bye Bye Bye,” then lined up for photos with a cardboard cut-out of the crooner.

Celebrities including Ellen DeGeneres -- who will speak at Monday’s ceremony -- AJ McLean and Nick Lachey enjoyed Timberlake dancing his way around an elaborate three-part stage while performing his hits including “What Goes Around Comes Around,” and “Can’t Stop the Feeling.”

The concert also featured a cozy set around a campfire, mesmerizing visual projections and woodsy stage décor like fake trees and grass.

The former ‘NSYNC member sat down for a PEOPLE Now interview recently, where he talked a little bit about his new film A Witches’ Ball — where he plays a singing rat! — and dished on his family’s elaborate Halloween ensemble plans.

“I make a lot of the costumes, actually,” explains Fatone, who shares 7½-year-old daughter Kloey Alexandra and 16-year-old daughter Briahna with wife Kelly. “Or I’ll mix things together.”

This year, Kloey has a specific request for the family: Guardians of the Galaxy. “She wants to be Rocket, the raccoon. I’m gonna be possibly Groot — I actually have stilts. Kelly’s gonna be Gamora, and Briahna is going to be Star-Lord.”

Last year, the family dressed up as Wreck-It Ralph characters — and Fatone, 40, recalls how he had to get a little creative when it came to Briahna’s choice of attire.

“My older [daughter] wanted to be one of the drivers, and they don’t have a costume — her name was, like, Cherry Bing-Bing or some crap like that,” he laments.

“I got a dodge ball, cut it [in half], burned feather leaves down and stuck it in there — DIY! — and I put it on her head, and it looked like a cherry,” Fatone explains.

Fatone’s love for Halloween costumes goes way back — in fact, his older daughter’s own affinity for that portion of the holiday might have a lot to do with her dad.

“I dressed her up as [Regan] from The Exorcist and I dressed myself as the priest,” he shares of the outfits he chose for himself and Briahna when she was around Kloey’s age.

“She finally realized that it’s fun to scare people, and she knows that it’s all fake,” Fatone says.
