Oh anon, how i love you so...

• Kliff noticing Tatiana has been pretty...high strung. Stressed. Tired. And this morning her chronic pain (a side affect of outputting so much energy in her 20's. The goolings was a rough time) had been flaring up, and he knows that she used to really enjoy baths back in the day, as they were kind of a luxury for a band of broke young adults. So he takes the time to do somethin special, lights a few candles, rose water, bubbles, the whole mile, to try and ease any discomfort, if only slightly. He also offers to help put on any pain cream, which she laughs off first, but then gets kinda soft when she realizes he's serious. He makes it a night just for her, just to take some weight off of her shoulders.

• Tatiana's signature affectionate gesture is pressing foreheads. Kliff's is holding hands. Kliff really loves Tatiana's hands, feeling the way theyve cracked and gotten rough with age, and he can feel the callouses in her fingertips from playing all those years ago. Kliff has never been an incredibly touchy person, mainly becuase hes unused to the contact, but he'll always reach over to take her hand and do the thumb rub thing if theyre chilling together.

• (headcanon incoming) Kliff knows how to play piano. Sometimes on a good night he'll clamber over to Tatiana's barely used piano in the office (because of course she has one) and they'll play and laugh and fuck around. 🎶Sing us a sooong youre the piano maaaaaan🎶

• Tatiana has Old Person Disease and every time the two just sit on the couch or something she falls asleep. Every goddamn time. Shes so pissed when she wakes up because she has STUFF to do. But literally every single time kliff takes her hand and puts his head on her arm when theyre watching some shitty show shes like 🛌 immediately. He finds it really cute and also fuckin hilarious and makes fun of her for being old when hes almost exactly her age.

like....kul fyra and kliff having a friendship so fucking special that just ends up turning into love that kinda...transcends romance? [CHUGS THAT SHIT LIKE ITS WATER] like brooo it makes me so happy. two idiots attached by the hip....its so tasty. and then their eventual falling out, the spiral of them caring too hard about eachother that it hurts them.

and then theres that......messy ass reunion.......but then that slow climb back into being friends, two puzzle pieces slowly slotting back together. theyre different people now, they’ll never be the same again, kul fyra has been dead for years. but even then, its not about the past, its about them now. they fall back right into place. not how it used to be, but something new entirely, forged from the old.

THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I BASED THIS COMIC OFF OF!!! and is also something one of my dear dear friends is writing a fic based off of!!

in my head ive like...rewritten the whole satelite scene in favour of kliff being a more impulsive morally grey character rather than being some....somewhat poorly written villain. obviously not completely erasing his flaws, him still being self entitled and jealous but just....better written. Kliff’s whole monologue and tatiana’s line delivery feels.....rushed.

Id just love for them to...have a talk. Once tatiana has settled in the new embrace of her old identity, once she’s learned to accept her past.... and i think kliff is in need of his redemption arc if they ever want to be friends again. Which i think kliff would get through bunk bed junction, and learning what he did was wrong, and where his self entitlement comes from, and how tatiana experienced their relationship during the goolings.

Their lil talk would definitely include where it all started going wrong. what tatiana did on her own to kickstart nsr. where theyve been in the past 20 years. and then also just....remembering the good old times. tatiana tells kliff that she doesnt want them to hang on the past anymore, but that they shouldnt forget what theyve been through together. what kliff has done to her, and to the people of the city. it’s definitely the final nail in the coffin to his theoretical redemption.
