RIP NORT! Nort Zoom Talaria from 2004. Designed by @mr_stash to commemorate the opening of the Nort Berlin Chapter. Never to be released for commercial retail, these were only available to Friends & Family of the shop. What makes them special to me is the the design and colorways of this specific release. The different shades of grey, the translucent outsole along with the premium mesh, distressed leather and plush nubuck, made this pair super FRESH. Throwing on the NORT logo on the rear side panel and the tongue made these even more unique. I tried for many years to track these down, coming up empty. Then after years of searching I managed to get my 1st pair through a trade in NYC with someone that was obviously well connected Cuz he had these and a sample pair that was never released. Considering myself extremely lucky to have my pair in my collection, another pair surfaced in Montreal in my size and I had to secure them for myself. Finally, having 2 pairs in my collection is inconceivable considering how rare they are. Apparently rumoured to be 24 or 48 pairs available worldwide. It's still not clear to me how many pairs were actually released. This is a lifestyle full of passion and full closets, not LIKES! Very RARE Air Jordan 1 retro+ Salesman sample from 2001. White/Metallic Silver-Midnight Navy. These are considered extremely rare because they are a salesman sample and are numbered 00000 of 00000 on the inside of the tongue. So technically speaking these do not exist. What makes them EXTRA EXTRA special is the full color Jumpman logo on the back heal of the shoes. Usually it's a stitched Jumpman logo on the rear. It would have been a 1st time ever that a full color Jumpman logo was put on a Jordan brand sneaker, making these very unique.
