Soundwave has tiddies. But they’re not in his tape deck.

There’s no room! However will he fit tiddies in there. Subspace? That’s just uncomfortable, and they’d drag on the ridges of the deck whenever he unsubspaces them.

Nah, he’s got them below his tape deck. Tummy tiddies. Four to six of them depending on how many cassettes he’s got/actively feeding.

Kitty tfp wave!

I tried to draw it on a pic if him from the show but I couldn't get it the way I wanted-

Maybe the little lights underneath their eyes are inferred sensors? Like second set of eyes? Or special size measuring things (like how cats use their wiskers to judge if they can fit thru a tight opening)

The waves are very cat coded to me, they are kittywaves

#6: i was finding myself sleepless and he was running out of lullabies. angst, merthur, modern era (540 words)

the clock ticks in his ears before he opens his eyes; he hasn't slept, he's tied his stomach in knots for the promise of today and it's arrived all too soon, pulling at his insides, leaving a sheen of sweat on his forehead and a bitter dryness in his mouth. it’s unsettling, a morning or a mourning.

beside him, arthur sleeps. the sheets tucked under his arms, a glowing peace as the rising sun catches his jaw. merlin’s eyes focus on a speck of dirt on the side of the windowpane — it’s staining the off-white wood, an imperfection otherwise unnoticed. but he can’t stop seeing it. the rustling of the sheets reach his ears before arthur moves, stretches languidly, raising his arms over his head. merlin sees the muscles of his broad shoulders contract, the light hair on his chest that he’s run his hands through countless times. he's felt the hard planes of his abs, his shoulder blades. merlin’s done everything but sink his teeth into arthur’s soul and the casual grin he shoots merlin upon waking makes him falter, as only arthur knows how to do. “you been up long?” arthur asks him, touching merlin’s bare shoulder. it’s a signal, a plea for merlin to come closer, and he falls into it despite himself, despite the expanse of his heart that’s filling up with water, drowning him. arthur’s chest is warm and his heart is steady when merlin rests his head on it. “i haven’t slept,” merlin admits, his jaw moving against arthur’s arms.  arthur doesn’t say anything, perhaps he’s learned enough about merlin by now to not douse him with promises he couldn’t keep, doesn’t spill reassurances out of obligation anymore. merlin hated that. still, merlin is searching for something and it only wrenches his heart a little more when the silence prevails. “when do you leave again?” he asks casually, pointlessly. like it’s not been tearing him the fuck up every day since they’d met, since they’d said this would be simple, a bit of fun.  and now they’ve made liars of themselves and merlin’s the only one paying.  arthur doesn’t answer him, only swallows. because he knows that merlin knows. that it’s a step of courage neither of them could take. and merlin’s soul wants to sing for more, to croon a song of love, but he thinks if he tried now, it would only sound like the rainfall, like cars crashing in the city block.  “maybe we can—” “don’t,” merlin interrupts on a sigh and in a feat of sudden reality, he pulls away from the loose grip of arthur’s arm, only meets his eyes for a moment.  arthur has nothing more to say after that. his movements are slow when they get up, holding his shirt in his hand too long before putting it on, keeps glancing to merlin as if he could do something about this, change this distance that’s ever-growing between them. but there are no sweet nothings, no promise of anything true. and when the door shuts closed, merlin imagines it immediately — arthur pendragon three thousand miles away, a quick chance romance to pen down, all the words in a week’s worth of tilting merlin’s whole world boiling down to only one: almost.
