hello starlight i am here to request kitty and ororo hanging out in the mansion. i had a good day today and i hope you did too!

send me a character/pairing and a prompt, and I'll write a three-ish sentence fic!

"Ororo? Can I help?" Kitty hovers at the door and holds up her hands ruefully when Ororo looks up from where she's laid ingredients out on the counter before her. "I promise not to touch anything except what you tell me to, I just figured, since almost everyone is still sick..."

Ororo gestures to her with a potato, mock stern, and says, "See that you don't, kitten. Now, come here. You can peel these potatoes while I chop the onions."

"What are we making?" Kitty asks, bounding forward excitedly to take the potato. Kitty knows she's not a great cook--it's an ongoing project, okay--but she loves the kitchen. Her bubbe jokes that she's too Jewish not to think that being in someone's kitchen while they cook is proof that they love her.

"Githeri," Ororo sayss. "I ate it as a little girl, it's good comfort food. And," she gives Kitty a sly smile, "with all the moaning in this mansion, you would think no one here had ever had a little head cold, so I thought that comfort food would be just right to shut them up."
