Tagging system*:

hhh = neutral bookmark tag. Most common save tag (most things in it)

Good post = bookmark tag that means i either find the post genuinely good or funny.

Best post =advanced good post

Save = like hhh but slightly less common and older

Save 2 = old hhh

A = old hhh

Postpost = kinda like hhh basically only used for a few posts

Bad fucking post = the post is bad. I had a bad experience reading it and the poster is at fault.

kill= the post is about bad things that make me angry

Worst post = usually more well known bad fucking posts

Old post = up until 2019 with exceptions if thw post has a lot of notes and has old post vibes

Resources = anything really. Mostly for myself. Mostly links

Save forever = mostly like very important advice etc.

L8r = bookmark for when i cant engage w/ the post (fully read, watch video, listen to attached audio etc.) at the moment so I mark it for later. This tag has multiple variations that are just an older version of it no longer in use.

Reminder = for myself, usually to send the post to someone

Png = for images but inconsistent

Txt= original text posts. occasionally with images

If you’re not a trans woman, and you’re headcanoning a character meant to be read as male, or who is canonically male, as a trans women instead…you should probably take a step back.

If trans women have rallied around a communal headcanon of that character as a trans woman, then that’s a green light. 

On the other hand, if you’re crushing on a male character and decide to HC that character as a trans woman to suit your lesbian sexuality, then that’s not good, and you’re being transmisogynistic by equating cis men with trans women. We’re not cis men. We’re not a vehicle for folks to try to escape or process their compulsory heterosexuality baggage, especially since all that cissexist, transmisogynistic, fetishistic bullshit blows up on us instead of those who are using us.

So really, just cool it with HCing male characters as trans women if you’re not a trans woman, because 95%+ of the time, you have really bad reasons for it, and we don’t deserve it. There’s zounds of female characters to HC as trans women, why don’t you folks run with that, hrm?
