i badly drew bgumi on twitter every day until el dorado dropped and then el dorado dropped and made me cry about them on like fifty different occasions

Judy, Shion, and Kiriko are three characters we saw briefly in the show and we got to learn a lot more about in the El Dorado visual novel, and I think it's kinda interesting how unlike the play they all are.

At the end of each route, Shion and Kiriko agree that revenge doesn't really matter to them, that it was just a tool they used for their play, which is so unlike Salvatore, who couldn't be satisfied until he got his revenge, even if it cost him his relationship with Alejandro, or how Alejandro only lives for his revenge by the end.

Or how in the final epilogue it's revealed that Judy never stole Hikari's brilliance in the auditions, despite the play being full of people who steal from each other to make their own dreams come true.

And I think it's most obvious at the end, where the rings that Alejandro and Salvatore forsake along with their relationship are reused to tie Shion and Kiriko together as they take a risk and make their dream troupe together.

Anyways I just think it's neat how unlike El Dorado they are, which is a contrast to how much like Starlight most of the main cast were in the show

Finally going through the revue starlight VN and wow they really said gay rights with Amemiya and Masai. They get to be fleshed out characters again! I love it! Masai especially, she is so cutie patootie. Love her goofiness.

I need everyone to appreciate kirishio more. They're so amazing to everyone and to each other...this moment in particular I love (though Knowledge of a Stage Girl always makes me cry so that's probably helping) and Shion feels so real. There's that scene where she recruits Elle for the arcana arcadia writing and she's just so sweet...and nobody cares about kirishio but me, it feels like.
