Kinsey took a heavy seat across the table from Alec, sighing heavily. “I’m beat, this is my first day off in a week. I’m pretty sure I smell like the club still. I apologize right now for that.”

"Hey, it's no problem, I'll always be up to keeping an eye on my favorite kid," Kinsey said. "How's your night going? I saw you dancing with Jon earlier."

Alec had just come back from the restroom after handing Felicity off to Kinsey so she could have a moment to freshen up in the restroom. Jon was here as well but she was giving him a moment to himself as the three of them had just finished dancing together. Alec walked up to Kinsey and Felicity and paused, standing over to the side watching the two dance together with a huge smile on her face. "Thank you for watching her for the moment," she said, once the two caught her attention. @mcnstercus

Kinsey winced and grabbed her side lightly, stopping in the middle of training with Alec. She took a minute to take a breath. "Sorry, sorry, I'm fine," she said. "Let's go again."

Kinsey pointed her phone camera toward Alec and Felicity. “Smile!” she said to the two of them. “Felicity has ice cream all over her mouth and I need a pic of this for you.”

“Alec! Did you get the carrot yet!” Kinsey called to the other from the front yard. She was holding Felicity bundled up in a think snowsuit in her arms. She tickled the baby’s tummy. “Are you going to put the carrot on, Felicity?” she said, talking to the baby. “Mommy’s gonna have to get a perfect photo of you by your first snowman.”

"Like a siren tried to eat me for lunch," Kinsey said bluntly. Kinsey took a moment to try and sort her thoughts, feeling foggy, till it settled on remember who all was at the wedding, and her face was laced with panic. "PJ? Have you seen my brother? Is he okay? Where's Felicity, is she alright? Are you alright?" She moved, she had to find PJ, check to make sure he was okay, but she whimpered in pain at the movement.

Alec walked down the hospital corridor, pushing through the pain in her side; the weight of everything that had happened settling heavily on her shoulders. She had just left Elsa’s room, her heart still aching from the news, and now she was on her way to see Kinsey. She took a deep breath before entering the room, trying to push the sadness aside for the moment. Kinsey had been through so much already and Alec knew she needed to be strong for her. As she opened the door, Alec softened her expression, offering Kinsey a warm, reassuring smile. "Hey, sunshine," she greeted gently. "How are you holding up?" She moved closer to Kinsey’s bedside, taking in the sight of her with a mix of relief and concern. "You’ve had us all worried," Alec added softly, carefully pulling up a chair beside the bed. "But I know you, and I know you’re stronger than any of those sirens." Her voice was calm, but there was a fierce protectiveness underlying her words. Alec paused for a moment, studying Kinsey’s face. "Is there anything you need? Anything I can do for you right now?" she asked, wanting to make sure Kinsey knew she wasn’t alone in this, no matter how difficult things might get. @mcnstercus

Kinsey looked at Alec when she noticed the other was looking at her. “Uh, why are you staring at me? Have I done something?”

Kinsey smiled when she saw the other. “Okay, good to see you, but I wanna see the baby too,” she said, clapping her hands lightly, excited.

"I don't know, I just, I've been kind of out of sorts lately," she replied. "I'll be okay, really."

kinsey​:

“I know,” Kinsey said with a sigh. “I’m sorry I’ve been so horrible lately, I’ve really been trying to juggle everything. We can train, and of course visit Felicity. I miss her too.”

“We don’t have to train right now,” she started. “We can just talk. What’s been going on with you?” Training could wait for just a little bit. Plus she had to be in the right mind to train anyway.
