Cecilia Phantomhive was born on a chilly spring morning. She was a younger than her two brother’s, Ciel and his identical twin. Since she was younger and a girl, she had more restrictions than her brother’s did but not as much as her sickly older brother. As a smaller child, she was often told not to interact with her sickly brother out of fear she would catch whatever illness he’d get or she would end up interrupting his sleep while he was recovering.

As the years went by, she never interacted much with that brother. Instead, she was close and absolutely adored her old brother Ciel instead. Her and Ciel were almost seen as twins as well from just how close they were, and how often they played together. All the while she barely interacted with her other brother. She would give him the occasional flower from outside when it seemed like he was recovering or greet him in the morning if he was allowed someone to visit him.

Still, she had a happy childhood with her brother and cousin. Everything seemed perfect for the young girl, until that very day happened. She was asleep in her room, excited for tomorrow was Ciel and her other brother’s birthday, when it seemed no adults came to check on the three of them. Earlier in the day, Cecilia was told she could skip lessons to play with her brothers until their dinner. However, no one came to check on them nor wake them up. Both of her brother’s left which left Cecilia alone to wait. Little did she know, a tall shadow-y man would come into the room and knock her out. That bedroom was the last she saw of her home.

What happened next affected Cecilia’s mind forever. Her and many other girls were put into cages, ones right next to the boys cage. She watched her brother’s from the cage, desperately trying to reach out for them, but it seems every time she did she was dragged away. She was given a price tag on her ear as if she was some kind of toy for someone to buy. Like a toy, she was indeed purchased along with her brothers.

For maybe a day or two, she was treat at least alright. She was given a bath and fed warm food until that very night had happened, the one that changed her psyche forever. They had dressed Cecilia up like some kind of porcelain doll and was then grabbed and forcefully had her innocence taken away by the disgusting people within the secret society who also had purchased her brothers. It was like she was some kind of doll for them to break and she was indeed broken. They had then taken her and her brother’s and locked them up in cages where they were fed through funnels or beaten if they were too exhausted to possibly take anything from the funnel. Cecilia had to endure all this physical and mental pain for a month straight, not a day went by where she wasn’t damaged further.

One day, they had taken one of her brother’s. She was too dehydrated and malnourished to see which brother was taken, not knowing it was Ciel they had taken to kill. She screamed out for her brother, watching him get stabbed in the stomach from the cage she was in. To shut her up, they had taken her and beaten her once again. This time, the beating was so bad it seemed she lost some memories and passed out as well. As she was knocked out, her other brother had made a contract with the demon the people who had kidnapped them had summoned.

She didn’t know anything that happened, but awoke to be in the arms of a stranger. As she wiggled around and tried desperately to get away from him, her brother had told her to calm down. Of all brother’s to forget, she seemed to forget the one who was sick. All her mind could remember was Ciel, maybe because she was the brother she would always beg for help from. All this time, she had no idea that the one she kept calling Ciel wasn’t even him but was a brother her brain had been forced to forget by the men who ruin their lives.

No one questioned why she never mentioned her other brother, it was best not to bring up any pain around Cecilia after all. She had been through far too much already, it was best not to speak of her grief again.

Finally, she had been home! However, not all was as joyful as one would think when finally coming home. Every night, she woke up screaming and begging for help. Her nightmares would grow so bad that she had to have her room next to Ciel’s just to try and please her panic filled mind. She was now afraid of any man getting near her it seemed. Any man who towered over her makes her heart beat pound in panic, and anyone who touches her wrist will send her collapsing to the ground in a state of panic. Paranoia certainly filled this girl’s mind. Not only that, but she seemed to grow afraid of flames as well. The poor girl tried to make up every excuse she can to not dance with a man out of pure fear of them touching her, for it seems touch is what she’s afraid of most.

What made things worse is that her and Ciel seemed to no longer be close anymore. He was distant now, and he seemed to suffer the same memory problems she did. Anytime she would ask something about what they did together, he didn’t seem to remember or when he did it was like he was wording it in a way where he just watched everything. It didn’t cross her mind that it was that other brother she never became close to, how could she think that when she didn’t have any memories of him?

Currently, Cecilia is a VERY broken young lady. She’s constantly stuttering and keeps a fair amount of distance from most and is in a constant state of panic. When talking, she’s a VERY shy person and doesn’t like displays of physical affection (hugs, head parts, hand holding, etc) for it sends her into a state of panic. The only person really pardoned from all this is her brother for Ciel is truly the only person Cecilia will ever fully trust in this world. Even so as a timid and stuttering young lady, she has rare moments where she tries to be the social girl she once was though such occasions are incredibly rare for her.
