For those who know me, I’ve been writing in the genshin community for 3-4 years and just recently began writing JJK.

For this who don’t know me; hi, my name is Liv, and I write.

I’m a university student writing as a type of side-hustle, but realistically it doesn’t do much. I have a large follower group- over 3000- who I am all so grateful for in terms of support, but doesn’t help my case of finances.

I work 2 part-time jobs as I support my family and pay for my own expenses within the university. My father was recently diagnosed with colon cancer and is no longer in the shape to work- he’s also very close to retirement, and my mother’s bipolar illness and borderline paranoia limits her from working.

I never consider myself a beggar, yet here I am. It’s gone so far to the point I’ve felt the need to sell my body online (which has gotten me something, but goes against my morals and is not something I want to continue.)

Kinich was someone who I never wanted to lose contact with, no matter if we had split up or gone our separate ways in career paths and had to move to different states. Whether he was my lover or not, kinich had a heart of gold and the most genuine intentions ever, even if he did hurt me at some point I knew deep down it wasn’t because he wanted to, it was because he thought that he was doing the right thing for us or was just bat shit oblivious. 

I would like to believe that I was the one that knew him the best, the only one he would share his utmost deepest feelings, his dirty little secrets, his guilty pleasures, stuff like that. I mean I was his number one person and the one priority he had, (well apart from his studies and family of course) but he never really went to anyone for help but me. even xio couldn't understand him at times and she was one of the closest people to him. But my point being I hoped I would be the only person to ever be that close to his heart, someone that special and dear to him, someone he surely couldn’t lose.

And despite our very different personalities, we had a good relationship, we could match each other's energies and needs. We knew what we both wanted for our futures and we didn’t try to sabotage each other or make each other feel bad for failing or achieving something, in fact we celebrated both our losses and wins. Kinich was always proud of me and I was always proud of him. We shared many moments together and I wished for more in the near future for every shooting star, every coincidence, every 11:11 or 7:07 I saw. 

There was absolutely no doubt in my mind kinich was the one person for me, he had seen every single part of me. No matter if I was at my lowest, my highest, my most embarrassing or barest, he loved every part of me and never judged it. 

sadly things don’t always last nor end the way we hoped they did, and me and kinich were one of those.

now it was someone completely different sharing all of that with him, someone who wasn’t me but somehow was me all together at the same time. She didnt have my name or the same hair color or the same history with him, but somehow they looked like they were better together, their aesthetics, their styles, even their personalities looked so perfect together. A new level she had officially reached, somewhere completely above my rank, something I couldn’t beat even if I so desperately wanted to. It was a really selfish desire of mine but I had really prayed he had just mistakenly lost his memory and had found someone he thought was me, but of course that wasn’t the situation at all. I’m not her but somehow she is me, at least the new me, a new and better version of me.

The only excuse he gave me that day was “it's our careers, we’re both deciding for something completely different, whether you want to accept it or not we were going to end up like this at some point.” and that was it. as much as I wanted to beg him to stay, beg him to not leave, I just stood there like a dumbass, the only words i could build up at that moment were “okay, i understand”. and we lost contact, just like that, even if that was the last thing i had ever hoped for, and as stupid as it may sound it really did feel like my world had ended in a flash, in one split second, years of sweet moments came crashing down on me.

kinich, the purest soul of them all, the most genuine guy ever, hurt me like no one ever had before. even so, i still loved him with all my heart. for the rest of that semester and the rest of the summer i didn’t go out. because of the many sleepless nights that i hoped he would text me and tell me he missed me, or that he wanted me back. the many days xio and zuzu had to stay by my side to make sure i was properly taking care of myself. I was living a waking nightmare, something I would honestly never wish on anyone, not even on my worst enemy. 

And for some time i honestly did get over it, at least i tried to to the best of my abilities. But who knew the new semester would bring me back to the lowest point in my life again, because the moment i saw him there, standing in the middle of the room, he looked absolutely ethereal. And the moment i saw that specific girl in blue clinging onto him, I knew i had lost him, and at that point I wished I could just forget him for good but it never really was that easy.
