"oh so kingohger is having literal children fight in a war??" well you see. the show is made for literal children. the primary audience here is 6-9 year olds going "man i wish i could help my heroes fight in a cool giant robot" and Bun piloting the mech is for them.

#we do this every damn time you guys get into a kid's show #when i say 'children's shows need to be judged as children's shows'#i don't mean 'accept that it's bad or not deep'#as far as my personal criteria for judging a children's show #which grades heavily on 'does it communicate an appropriate message to the target age group on their level in a way they can understand'#kingohger is knocking it out of the park every week
