Yo new Party Crashers refs

If you've seen this now outdated post, then you probably are aware of the basics of the Main (and Mirror) AUs, however, the refs for the Main bois weren't that good. And so, with lineart done by Fracti, have these new references and descriptions for the bois, featuring some lore that's more elaborated on this Google document linked here.

Brent, the Star of Nature: Much like his kingdom, Brent is the most royal out of the great rulers, complete with his classy sword Sterling. Despite his sternness and overall, straight-man attitude, Brent cares deeply for his prophecy-chosen friends, even if they aggravate him.

Nick, the Star of Ice: Wielding a massive ego, Nick is seen as “frosty” by his fellow rulers while wearing his bent silver crown and blue cape. With this frosty attitude, Nick doesn’t see eye to eye with the others, especially Vernias, however, deep inside the ruler lives a nice Nick.

Vernias, the Star of Light: Born with the Emotiolor angel gene, Vernias has an overly cheery persona, complete with his plush octopus Poka. Blessed by his angel heritage, he believes everyone should get along, even with the “negative” sides of Vernias that like to pop out.

Happy form (Default): The overly cheerful and bubbly Vernias everyone on Party Island knows and where every other form of him appears from. Decked out in his iconic bright pink and purple color combo, the classic Vernias is a ball of cheer… even if it leaves him emotionally vulnerable…

Angry form: Staying in his sweet and bubbly persona is what Vernias strives for, however, there are times when he can’t keep the persona up. When his anger is released, Vernias becomes the strongest he can become with his raging red and orange color scheme and loud screams.

Queasy form: Having the weakest stomach out of the great rulers, Vernias being nauseous is commonplace, leaving him feeling like “a dead fish”. Whatever the cause, expect weak and long groans, him holding his gut, and him lying around in this form, with its sickly greens and dark browns.

Sad form: Despite his seemingly endless cheer, Vernias has a sensitive side and from being an emotiolor angel, has it worse than regular angels. Whenever his feelings are hurt in any way, expect this form’s blues and purples to show up, and the loud bawling that “turns” him into a fountain.

Fearful form: Like everyone else, including Nick even if he refers to himself as brave, Vernias is prone to fear, paranoia, and even anxiety on occasion. No matter the extent of his fears, they all result in Vernias being frozen in place while appearing in this form, consisting of lavender and periwinkle.

Sophist, the Star of Electricity: The last ruler chosen by the prophecy, Sophist enjoys his time mustering up all sorts of chaotic business. With his striking purple suit and top hat, Sophist has little intent of being royal as he such all because of his guide’s “phony” prophecy.

So with another Party Crasher themed drawing, I wanted to focus on creating them as Taiko drums based on the Taiko No Tatsujin series. The style was pretty fun to do but the animation/video processes was a lot harder to do.

In the midst of my breakup grief I discovered the Party Crashers, aka TCNick3, Vernias, KingofSkill, and Sophist. If you need YouTube video recs I highly recommend their gimmicky Mario Party Superstar videos. I'll post links of the ones I watch consistently.

For this theme with the Party Crashers, I hear a lot on how much they like the Amoung Us game so I decided to draw them as custom characters. I personally don't know the series super well to get into it but the style was fun to draw.
