Spoiler Alert for Spiderman: Across the Spiderverse [Content Warnings: Flashing lights, disturbing imagery, loud]. Song: "King Beetle on the Coconut Estate" by ‪@mewithoutYouMusic‬ Side notes: Part of the song was slowed and pitch shifted. I realized this part went hard when I was working on the Edith Finch edit, and it always made me think of cataclysms and a final, brutal failure or the arrival of a terrible evil. Watching Across the Spiderverse made me think of this for the spot's villainous transformation. The footage had to come from a direct recording of the movie theater screen that was cleaned up and upscaled, which I normally disapprove of, but this is a small, quick edit and there's no other way for me to do it. Regarding the FMA pocket watch--I think that it's either the day they tried to bring their mom back, or the day Ed became a State Alchemist. The comic never explicitly states it, as far as I can remember.
