I mean... why would there be?

I saw people here speculating they might get something, and I saw a headline about an honour for the queen, did I misunderstand?

You didn't misunderstand! I think it's unlikely (it has happened before) for a royal to get a major honour in the honours list. I know Camilla obviously got the Garter (but I'm fairly sure the Queen was "cleaning house" and prepping things for Charles) and royals have received honours on these dates in the past but the NY's honours and the Queen's (now King's) birthday honours are really supposed to be about honouring the people. It would have been a bad look for Charles' first honours to be him handing out a bunch to his family.

Also, Britain is very stingy with honours compared to other countries. I highly doubt William or Kate will get another UK-based honour/order/etc for a few years! (but I'm happy to be wrong)
