What do you think the avengers watching atla would be like

Tony: Initially scoffs at it but keeps wandering back into the room. Total Sokka stan by the end of it -- “LOOK, THE KID IS AN ENGINEER!”

Thor: Digs lightning-bending, but is sad only evil people seem to do it. Keeps looking sad during Zuko & Azula scenes. Loves the Earth Rumble and watching Toph wipe the floor with people, and keeps comparing the Kyoshi Warriors to the Valkyries.

Natasha: Team Kyoshi Warriors, but also Team Ty Lee and Mai. Loves the Chi-blocking. Tells Clint she wants a Shirshu for Christmas.

Steve: Loves the show’s approach to morality and attempting to maintain your humanity during war. Looks wistful through a lot of it. Hums “Leaves from the Vine” while washing dishes the next day, but no one calls him on it.

Bruce: Has to leave the room during the flashback with Ozai and the Agni Kai. Doesn’t come back for a whole episode, but ends up very fond of Iroh, and makes everyone Jasmine tea to drink while they watch. 

Clint: SO GODDAMN MAD THE YU-YAN ARCHERS WERE ONLY THERE FOR 1 EPISODE???

Sam: Declares himself the Avengers’ Team Airbender by the end of it. The Northern Air Temple episode is his favorite. Says Tony should build him a glider.

Wanda: The next day Natasha wanders in on her trying to figure out how to incorporate the movements from bending styles into her hex field manipulation -- she now has about 20 tabs of youtube videos of martial arts styles open for “research”

Carol: HOLY SHIT kids’ TV animation got so good? Has Monica seen this? She really hopes Monica got to see this. How old was she when this came out?

Rhodey: Sighs because they’re all sitting around watching a children’s show, but makes sure the closed captioning is on so no one misses anything when people keep talking during it. Is NOT crying when Yue dies, shuddup Tony.
