I read this long climate-change-doomer medium article last night and I don't need this right now :/ The arctic ice sheet situation in particular is what made me drop my phone and have a 5 minute freakout before I could read more.
#i don't want to alarm anyone but we are all going to die#factual gripe: the arctic ice sheet doesn't have ancient ice almost all of it is less than 4 years old so no ancient bugs to be released#kind of just shoehorning a The Thing joke into something plenty darkly comic already
