-member nadine is the 2nd to go solo but her album flopped bcuz critics say "shes talented but has no charisma like cheryl" but has now lived a quiet life raising her daughter and appearing on reality shows like the great british bake off and im a celebrity, get me out of here where she taught caitlyn jenner how to sing and dance the girls' biggest hit single "the promise"

-member nicola went solo after nadine and had a critically successful album called cinderella's eyes which had bops like "beat of my drum" and "lucky day" but commercially it wasnt a success, won the 1st season of the masked singer uk, is an anti-tanning advocate bcuz of how tanning got her injuries while filming for their single "love machine" and has a successful business where she makes products for women with fair skin and is the most bullied of the girls bcuz of her appearance, which sucks

-member kimberley is a successful musical theater actress appearing in west end productions of "shrek the musical", "elf" and "big"; was fat-shamed for her curvy appearance; she managed the group for a while bcuz louis walsh (who managed 1d and other groups) left them during a dispute (thank god they werent managed by him bcuz he's an asshole + he gave me creepy vibes during cheryl's audition where he and the other judges complimented her looks instead of he singing)

-member sarah reminded me of cameron diaz a lot + she has this friendly popular party girl vibe to me; sadly she died on sept. 2021 at the age of 39 bcuz of breast cancer (she was supposed to have treatment but the pandemic delayed her chances of getting better)

-members nicola and kimberley were rejected during their auditions for a reality show that formed the band but were added as replacements for two women who dropped out of the show (one left bcuz of her pregnancy + she was considered too old and the other left bcuz of contract dispute i think? but i know she left bcuz she thinks the show was "exploitative" but in reality, it was bcuz her jealous ex pressured her to leave the show and now she got some fame bcuz of a stint in i can see your voice uk where audiences + hosts + judges were surprised of her vocals)

-most of their hit songs were written + produced by a production team called xenomania, known for their songwriting skills that are very unusual for the standard songwriting. critics have considered them "modern day motown". the team has written songs like "believe" by cher and more, but they mainly work with girls aloud, sugababes and pet shop boys.

I knew most of this but this was still such a good summary!

Also, Cheryl and Nicola make such bops as solo artists. ‘A Million Lights’ is full of party jams and Nicola went a very experimental route (for pop anyway) with ‘Cinderella’s Eyes’

natascha cassandra rutherford araújo was born to wealthy parents named kimberley and emilio araújo. kimberley was a major socialite in the 90s, who often ran in the circles of naomi campbell, kate moss, and various others. while she did ‘settle down’ a little early in the 90s due to getting married and starting a family, kimberley didn’t disappear from the public eye. she married well when she met businessman and entrepreneur emilio, who had two hotels and resorts under his belt with the plans to expand.

right off the bat, a major wanted connection ( which i may send in to the main ) is sascha’s older sister ! their dynamic is the usual older/younger sibling dynamic, but at the base of it, her sister can be rather overbearing and judgmental with a thick air of superiority about her, so their relationship is just a bit strained but either way, i love familial things and would love to have this !

the araújo family became a bit rocky due in part to kimberley’s constant cheating, which she didn’t try to keep a secret. she had a lover in manhattan that she would see when in the city, but emilio was a family man so he never divorced her. her mom’s cheating caused sascha to grow much closer to her father, and turned her into something of a spoiled daddy’s girl.

sascha graduated from the masters school in katonah, ny in 2014, where she was a member of the dance team. this sparked her interest in beauty a lot more as she was often required to do her makeup for performances or when they wore their uniforms to class.

after graduation, sascha left new york to attend the university of southern california, where she became a song girl and majored in business administration. during her time at usc and with the aid of her father, sascha started her beauty brand sugar cosmetics.

she didn’t want to just get all the money from her dad for sugar, so for funding she put together a pitch and presented it to various investors, but was ultimately shot down a number of times. she tried again after solidifying the brand a little more, and sugar boomed with the release of a universal red lipstick ( think the maybelline color sensational ).

the business grew while she was in college, and during its official second year, the brand was picked up by ulta. the brand had only a few products out at the time, but it was still a major feat for sascha as she didn’t expect to get picked up by the beauty giant.

once sascha graduated from usc in 2018, her focus has primarily been on sugar. her audience has expanded greatly, and she has a flagship store in downtown los angeles. she has her own little office in dtla as well and she has a number of employees, all at the tender age of 23. her brand and the demand for sugar really blossomed when sascha was featured on the cover of glamour brazil and when the brand was used exclusively at the christian sirano resort show in 2018. now, she’s hoping that she can expand sugar cosmetics into skin and hair care, with the intentions of changing the name once she does,

when it comes to her personality, sascha is very fun-loving and boisterous, which can sometimes annoy the people around her. she can be neglectful to those important to her, especially because she’s really determined when it comes to her business ventures and often allows it to take over, even though she doesn’t mean to do it intentionally. due to the dysfunction in her family because of her mom’s cheating, sascha can be really bad at relationships although she doesn’t like to blame it all on what she saw while growing up.

MAJOR WANTED CONNECTION !! someone she met while attending usc ( does not have to be a usc student ), but she would often be rather neglectful towards their relationship ( i.e. forgetting dates, important events, and the like ) due to school, her time with the song girls, and her budding business venture. the relationship  could have been either short or long-term.

wanted connection #1: best friend in any industry ( she could do their makeup for them for various events; think of jen atkin & the kardashians/jenners ). they’re super close and despite their working relationship they can also hang out like friends as well.

wanted connection #2: girl squad ! just a group of girls that are supportive of one another and making others envious with their tropical vacation photos.

wanted connection #3: ex best friend: similar to the person that she dated while in college, natascha was very neglectful towards their friendship as she was focused on sugar cosmetics. she often forgot about important moments for her friend as she buried herself in work, and she’d do anything to have them in her life again.
