Second shot here had my hair combed a little differently to make it more poofy- meant to do that before taking these, but like... y'all will probably see me do this again. I originally wanted to do outdoor shots, so- next time!

Also bonus jacket I got the other day- kind of a good modern au stand-in for the normal Dia de Los Muertos party fit, right?

I bought some drumsticks today and she happened to be the one to pick up the package, so she asked me what do I need those for? I said it's for a cosplay but she then asked why I only bought the drumsticks and no drums, like, the single one with the strap would work well for a con!

Long story short, we found an offer for a drum that will get delivered before the convent. I won't use that drum ever again. Yet I still bought it. Thanks, mom. For making me realize how dumb would the drumsticks look without a drum :|

The requests are free! I have a hyperfixation on Scott Pilgrim media rn and I just wanna add to the fandom :3

RULES

I try to put my own spin on the idea so your request might be slightly changed but I generally stick to it

You can request ship art, just a character pic in general, ships, scenarios, AU, something that would add more "lore" to the fandom

I can draw the characters being in a crossover fandom (like MLP/ponified for example) or cosplaying as a certain character but I prefer just drawing shenanigans/slice of life/ship arts of the canon characters

I don't do NSFW but suggestive connotations are fine (like a joke or sth)

Max character count is 7 (get it, cuz exes)

Feel free to request any number of ideas, they will get finished eventually

I can also draw Y/N x character requests for Matthew Patel, Gideon Graves, Wallace Wells, Young Neil, Kim Pine, Ramona Flowers, Roxie Richter

I don't do requests for OC x canon, but my commissions for that are open! (gotta make an official page for em tho)

Awhile back, I was sitting around bored waiting for commissions to roll in. I texted a friend for some doodle ideas, and one of them was "Lapis Lazuli cosplaying as Kim Pine".

Several weeks and a few commissions later, I completely forgot about this-- until that same friend messaged me to ask if I ever digitized it. I felt so embarrassed that I immediately sat down and speed-ran the entire process.

tumblr user weezeryuri i need your professional opinion. i am a casual scott pilgrim fan, i have seen the movie and the show and have played part of the game. im planning on doing a kim cosplay for a local convention here soon because i look a lot like her already, but im afraid ppl will associate kim with the whole weird knives make out thing that happens in the graphic novel (and apparently in the game too? haven’t gotten that far yet). do u think it’s a bad idea to cosplay her or do u think people will just think “oh hey cool. kim pine cosplay” thank u love u mwah

you’re absolutely fine! i honestly rarely see anyone bring up the kim/knives shit, especially in comparison to scott and knives’s relationship. people definitely do not associate her with that scene, but even in context it wasn’t predatory imo. not saying it’s healthy, just poorly communicated and between 2 intoxicated adults

Kim Pine wig came in!!

Pretty stoked with how well this wig fits between the orange and burgundy spectrum that is Kim’s hair! The length is also pretty solid and true to Kim in the comics and frankly I won’t be trimming the bangs since I’m too sick and tired to put that much effort into this costume.
