Is Gojo likely to return without his powers?
I'm torn 50/50 on a Gojō comeback. At first I believed it was extremely unlikely, but the more time that's passed since 236, the less sure I am. I've already said that I think the chapter is deliberately ambiguous, so I've never thought it was *entirely* out of the question. However, there are a growing number of good arguments and theories supporting a return for Gojō, and I do think a lot of strange stuff has happened since 236.
It could honestly go either way, but that's before we even take into account what a comeback would look like. Does he return without his strength? Does he ascend to godlike levels of power? Does he come back exactly the same? Does he lose only *some* of his strength to bring him down to everyone else's level? Is it a temporary or permanent resurrection?
There are so many options beyond the ones I've just listed, and I'm trying not to get my hopes up for any of them because I don't actually know what I'd find satisfying. I even worry about him coming back full stop, because it has the potential to retroactively ruin a really beautiful death scene.
I think Gojō returning without his strength is probably the best option, but I would hate it if he just rocked up at the end of the story after everything is done and dusted. If he comes back, I want it to have meaning because that's Gojō's whole thing. He'd need to have some impact on the story in spite of losing his strength, otherwise I think there's no point in bringing him back.
At the same time, I don't want Gojō's return to overshadow the other characters. I think I talked about a Getō comeback hinging on a Gojō comeback in your last ask, and maybe the opposite is also true. If Gojō could reach through to Getō's soul and help put a stop to Kenjaku from the inside, I think he *could* return without stepping on his students' toes, but is that likely? I have no idea.
Sorry — it took me a while to respond to this because 236 turned all of my theories upside down and now I literally don't know what to expect from the rest of the story. I'm just trying to enjoy the ride from here on out! Do you think it's likely?

do you think that if jimin is really going to make a solo career he will have a radical change? type changes theme changes his clothes changes his fighting style and even his name jimin I use it for just jimin
ngl i thought you meant jimin the kpop star and i was like HE'S WRESTLING ???? WHERE???? and then i went through your blog and it was like. no. jimmy uso askjdskajd
to answer your question briefly, i don't think so. no radical change for jimmy and honestly? i'd prefer it that way. maybe that's just me. the only thing he's got to change is his stance with the tribal chief AND jey but that's about it.

Do you think there's a chance of Suguru Geto regaining control of his body?
hi thanks for the ask! id like to give a disclaimer that im not the best at plot stuff and not caught up to the manga rn so im not really sure tbh
but it seems that it's canon that geto is dead, which would mean he wouldn't be able to regain control of his body? unless gege akutami decides to bring him back somehow!

do you think jimin could cheat on jey?
No, I can't see it. I don't think that'd make much sense right now, with the story they're telling. It would feel like a backstep, Usos should stay united while Roman is still on top, otherwise why did Jimmy leave the BL in the first place.
Jimmy/Jey could feud eventually but not anytime soon, like well after "The Bloodline" story is done. I think there is something to be used with Main Event Jey and Jimmy feeling in the shadows.
To me, tonight ends with Roman standing tall, after presumably Jimmy gets wrecked while Jey is watching helpless.

Do you think there's a chance of Suguru Geto regaining control of his body?
I was *so* sure until the latest chapter, but now I have doubts.
For me, Getō regaining control won't have as much impact if Gojō isn't around. I don't want to reduce Getō's character to his relationship with Gojō but, at the same time, he's the reason Getō responded in Shibuya. Their bond is strong enough to reach across the chasm between the living and the dead.
If Kenjaku was telling the truth when they said it had never happened before, then it's safe to assume that a bond of this strength is exceptionally rare, so I don't really see Getō coming back for anyone else.
Therefore, instead of foreshadowing for Getō's return, I'm wondering if that moment in Shibuya is general foreshadowing for something as yet unrevealed about the relationship between the body and the soul. Some people have suggested that Kenjaku is slowly taking on the traits, thoughts, and feelings of the people whose bodies they have inhabited — hence the 'thank you for getting along with my son' moment.
Tumblr media
I really like the idea that the people whose bodies Kenjaku violated will play a part in their downfall, but Kenjaku doesn't seem worried about it. Based on the below comment from towards the end of the Shibuya arc, I wonder whether Kenjaku is somewhat used to navigating the bleed between two souls inhabiting one body. After all, it's reasonable to assume that they know more about the phenomenon than anyone else, but maybe that confidence will come back to bite them in the end.
Tumblr media
Still, there are lots of people inhabiting other people's bodies in Jujutsu Kaisen, so the foreshadowing may not even apply to Kenjaku. It might transpire that that moment in Shibuya was just Akutami laying the groundwork for the Toji resurrection and his interaction with Megumi afterwards.
However, that in itself is suspicious to me. After 236, I've seen so many people saying with absolute certainty that Gojō can't or won't come back — but this is a story where resurrection and defying death are surprisingly common. As Toji demonstrates, you don't even have to come back in your own body!
When I think of it in those terms, Getō's odds of regaining control of his body actually seem pretty good, but narratively I don't think it would make sense unless Satoru came back too. I'm not expecting that to happen, but I do think Akutami has left the door open in the latest chapter. After all, airports are liminal spaces, and you could argue that Getō has been stuck in a transitional place between life and death for some time now. I'm not sure he can 'cross over' fully until his body is laid to rest, and I *really* thought Gojō would do that for him.
So, I guess for me it's both of them or neither of them, and I'd lean towards the latter. However, while I don't want to theorise too much about the north vs south thing because I think it's deliberately ambiguous, Gojō and Getō are facing the same direction in 236. At the time the chapter takes place, they've each got one foot in the world of the living and one foot in the afterlife, and stranger things have happened in Jujutsu Kaisen.
TL;DR: I dunno lol but nothing would surprise me anymore!! Thanks for the ask, I loved thinking about this 🖤

do you think roman will have someone to defend him at his trial today ? how jey came to sami's defense.
It's me. I'm showing up tonight. F those twins.
But honestly, I just think Chief needs to dig deep and delve into the chaos. 2020/2021 Chief x 1000. Murder is the only answer now.

do you think saitama and genos will be together at the end of the manga?
I think so. :'3 Or rather, staying together as life partners, soulmates, found family, etc - a package deal much as they already are. As wc Genos has already lost Kuseno, and it would be such a tragic un-ONE-like message to keep Saitama alone forever like if he loses Genos permanently without that close (mutual) emotional support they share. Once Saitama realizes there's more to life he wants than a good fight, and how much Genos has meant to him at his side. :') And a pair of otherwise lone, broken people healing and staying together throughout all the story's hiccups/conflicts (while also making more friends, and growing the family with Rover, etc) leaves off as a very wholesome/uplifting message for them both.

what do you think of sonic and puri puri prisoner?
As a pairing? HELL NO. I wouldn’t wanna ship PPP with any of the other characters (because of the obvious homophobic/paedophilic implications of his character. it’s gross and repulsive as fuck) AT ALL. (I acknowledge the existence of that one guy who sewed him a sweater but uh that’s end of that.) As characters? That I can do.
While the very existence of PPP is downright disgusting (and ONE should be rightfully criticized for it) but I’m pretty neutral on him. I don’t actively hate him as such. It mostly stems from my opinion that no heroes should die/be killed unnecessarily (no, not even him). And looking at the current situation the world of opm... it just doesn’t seem to have enough heroes no matter how you look at it. All hands on deck, help is help etc. And I’m glad that even he got character development in the wc considering he stood his ground during his encounter with Raiden because he wishes to help in his own way and wants to subject the prisoners/criminals to corrective training in order to serve society. He is a professional hero, so uhm good for him I guess. (at least it’ll be a safer world for women till he’s around, I’m sorry forgive me.)
And Sonic... *incoherent hyperventilated rabid screaming*. He’s my blorbo. I think about this man every single minute of my fucking life. I love him. I’m looking forward to where ONE takes his story. He’s an intriguing character. I’m very emotionally attached to and mentally invested in Sonic. Life’s always been cruel to him yet he’s managed to survive and make it so far. In my eyes, he’s got one of the strongest willpowers in opm. Although he’s at his most vulnerable right now because his defeats from Saitama have made him beyond depressed (as if his outlook on life isn’t already pessimistic enough). Though I see him as a potential asset. There better be a good redemption arc for him. His moral compass is essentially gray cause I mean he kills for a living. Indiscriminately so. Human or monster, he doesn’t give a shit. He’s very indifferent to other people’s lives (this probably counts as side-effects of having spent a big chunk of his life training to be an assassin but he clearly is not one to be brainwashed easily so that’s just him being cynical). But I do hope his childhood ideals which are quite heroic in nature will get the chance to shine through at some point in the future (like that one time he saved, AND named, the little boar Ino. I love that OVA so much. Just good stuff). And even after everything, he’s successfully managed to preserve his humanity. So when he did try to become a monster in the manga, he just couldn’t. Maybe because, again, he’s simply too human to become a monster (bathroom jokes aside). It was the, or rather his human tendency to want to cook something before consumption that saved him at the end of the day. Plus, he was never gonna join hands with the MA. He doesn’t care about any of that (and the idea of lending a hand to ppl who are going after someone who used to be an ally in the past is not exactly appealing anyway). In short, he’s great, and I’m here for his journey. Fingers crossed for him to come back to the manga soon (let’s be real, it doesn’t feel the same without him).

Did Jimin become a jobber?
not in the SLIGHTEST. my man got this shit, he just needs to find his footing around. he isn't used to the whole singles competitor thing you know. a bit extra info but I also think he would make one of the heels who get upper hand in a match and then get all cocky and end up having to cheat for the win. as much as I would have loved him winning from a start it's okay. he needs TIME to settle in which I'm more than willing to give him.
