its 3am right now and i was struck with the most horrendous upsetting tear jerking sob choking idea of luke becoming disillusioned with the professor after seeing layton at his most vulnerable in unwound future, that every time he looks at him luke starts seeing hershel as a rounded man, who is tearing at the seams,,,,,, like he’s not the cool professor anymore he’s just his mentor, and it’s not like he’s tired of hershel or his company but his growth from an apprentice to a partner is actually a very bitter one

#i shouldnt post this its like totally weird for me to but its also eatinf away at me #ouuughhh bitter 13 - 15 yr old luke who feels lost and is trying to prematurely like #mature #so he doesnt have to feel the dissonance of layton as both the infallible professor and a tired man / partner #killing and maminh myself
