2. What's something you constantly have to re-explain about your muse

#2. I don't think I've sat down and spelled it out to people, but there is a constant issue with people trying to one-up Clark in terms of conversation. He's an asshole-—he's catty, and he banters. Nothing he says is ever personally malicious (and I have threads where he HAS been verbally malicious and I promise you there is a biiiig difference). He'll call someone an idiot but then he'll follow that up with normal conversation or business talk or an attempt to reach some sort of understanding. He's obnoxious but also professional. Any insults he slings can and should just be brushed off. Or, really, if they must have a reaction a curt telling him off will usually suffice and he won't linger and the conversation typically proceeds as normal.

But I've had people over the decade or so I've had him more or less halt thread progression in order to spend entire replies insulting Clark on a quite personal level which will typically veer the thread tone so far into pure antagonism that I just have to drop it. It turns into one of those cliché 'Yeah, well my character is smarter than urs and super cooler and also has a giant sword and then I kill ur character. i win xD' situations and I just don't have the patience for that.

I never say people can't clap back at Clark, but I'm not going to tone him down or have him stick around to be verbally abused and it has felt in some instances that people take his general 'sunny' attitude quite personally as if I the mun am in their DMs directly insulting them as a writer and it's just been weeeeird. Like insult him back but don't take it so far than you expect me as the writer to force my own muse ooc just to make him not fucking literally walk off on your muse and kill the thread. It's one of the blegh things that comes with the territory of RPing a morally grey/villain muse but it's soooo annoying.

A less obnoxious one but I also have a lot of trouble with people calling Clark...Clarke. or spelling my url as killerblonde. kdjfbgdfg. There is no E,,,, there was never an E.

                                            ❛❛   You  know  you  can  stay  here  right  ?   Whenever  you  want. ❜❜  He  doesn’t  DARE  admit  that  he’s  AFRAID  to  sleep  in  the  house  on  his  own  (  though  he’s  guessing  that  Quinn  could  EASILY  deduce  the  REAL  reason  ).  There’s  GHOSTS  in  the  Teller  household  that  keep  him  up  at  night.  Quinn and  Jackson  haven’t  QUITE  worked  out  if  they’re     ‘together’     though,  all  signs  would  point  to  the  OBVIOUS  yes.  He  hasn’t  been  with  anyone  else,  and  doesn’t  want  to  be.  There’s  a  comfort  in  knowing  that  the  girl  you  love  is  your  best  friend,  and  an  even  greater  comfort  in  knowing  that  you  don’t  have  to  pretend  to  be  something  you  aren’t.  Fingertips  brush  against  one  another  as  they  pick  up  the    S A M E     record  at  the  exact  same  time,  and  he  laughs.  ❛❛  How’s  that  for  serendipity   ? ❜❜  Though  the  smile  that  settles  upon  lips  is  one  of  content.
