I have the longest English fic in my ship. It’s not even half done. And I don’t feel like writing more because I’m writing for myself and my muse has long moved on from 2018. My otps are still my otps but the anti blackness is way too loud for my sensibilities right now. Ugh

Competing with myself.

Its actually painful. I wish there were other black writers writing long, thoughtful fics in these fandom spaces.

I couldn’t even imagine what it would be like to have writers in my fandom and in my ships/canons.

Either way I’m going to go rest.

T’Jadaka Blurb (AO3)

The t’challa/erik fan base is.. pretty small. All things considered. There’s alot of things you could blame for that. But this isn’t about that. This is honestly just an opinion piece on the stuff i see floating in the tags. I know most people are calling for substance/less ooc content in the fics/fan content being made... and I feel it. 

I too would like some 100K word epic to sink into. Or some nice fun coffee shop AU esque type fics. But... that’s probably not gonna happen. Not unless we the fans make it happen. I get the frustration but I have to remind yll... This is literally EVERY M/M fandom. EVERY ONE. Don’t believe me, go to the tags and filter out the content *centered* on Black or brown male characters and tell me what you find. (lets discuss) There will always be ooc/pwp/fics you dont like or disagree with. That’s fandom. People are writing and the most we can do as readers is steer them to grown and learn. But please remember these people are *making* the content they want to see. For FREE. 

If you wanna have legit discussions about the over-sexualization of black man or the weird sexism present in m/m fiction we could. BUT people are creating the content they want to see. 

So please please. If you’re tired of less than amazing content... Write some yourself. Create some. Then carry on. That’s really all you can do.

Stuck between writing what makes me happy and writing things that will feed my ego because other people like them. It’s not fun being so smart if people you perceive as “dumber” get more attention now is it?

I’ve been trying to write some basic porn for Killchalla all month but the only thing that got me going this weekend were non con ideas for TonyRhodey and T’Chaka/N’Jobu… Likeeee😭
