For an inch thick steak I usually do 3 min, flip once and then 3 minutes more on medium heat for medium rare(I live in an apt so I use my stove) comes out great no matter what type of cut. Dave Consol why is that how is it healthier … lol I’m dying to know … I use a pan on a stove top and I guarantee the steak I cook would taste better than yours. I Am A Veteran My Oath Of Enlistment Never Expires Shirt.  I have notice everyone bitching about the salt, I honestly do not mind the salt. Everytime i eat steak.. The texture of rubber. Salt will cover the rubber taste and another thing is.

Most people are not smart cause how can you not see the flipping the steak was fast forward. Maybe the steak was on there for 20-30minuted flip like 5 times. And im not a steak expert since i dont cook that. Isnt the red part will poison you?  the red could only poison you if its like rare which basically raw. they did this i would say medium rare, most people like that.  You’re ordering it too done. Medium rare or medium at most, steak will be tender and flavorful. The red stuff is fine to eat.

If you cooked a steak for 20-30 minutes, you would end up with a piece of wood. 2 1/2 minutes each side is perfect for a medium rare and the ‘red’ bit won’t poison you if your meat is fresh. You’re only supposed to flip the cut once and leave it be, otherwise you’re draining it of the juices that keep it tender and flavorful. Red meat only forms bacteria on the outside. Not right thru like chicken. That’s y u can eat a steak rare or even blue without risk. Cos the outside is sealed n will reach a temperature to kill any bacteria.

I turn a steak 3 times on a bar grill. Gives a nice crossed marking each side. How long it sits each side for a desired rare, medium or well done comes down to experience n the cut of steak. A well done quite often finished in the oven for a few minutes. The steaks you eat taste like rubber because you’re cooking them for 30 minutes. Of course they’re going to come out tasting like a tire. We got a lot of Facebook certified chefs in here. who cares how they cook their steaks? If they like it and it’s good then it doesn’t matter. People get so mad over stupid things it’s not even funny!

No, they wouldn’t. And they would probably also say that there is too much fat. People should learn how to cook properly or the people eating the food might get sick.  If the meat is cooked to the correct temperature, which the person explained in the video, then how would they get sick? I don’t care if there’s too much fat on my steaks, I cut off the fat anyways so it doesn’t bother me at all. Well, I’m a ‘time served’ professional chef and let me tell you, they’ve fucked up that steak via oil and too much seasoning at the start.

Ohhhh my god is she cooking at a restaurant? I Am A Veteran My Oath Of Enlistment Never Expires Shirt. No. Why would a professional chef take notes off a Facebook video, anyways?? Like I said, people get way too mad over the stupidest things and it’s way too funny. I cook and my steaks medium rare. So my steaks taste yummy. The only thing I have to agree is the too much oil. I was like oh my Jesus what is doing? Don’t salt your meat overnight for the love of god! Don’t salt your steak an hour before cooking! Salt your steak 5-10 minutes before cooking it otherwise it will suck the moisture out of the meat! Even in marinades! Keep the salt out!
