     This is Toshiro, and I’m basing him off my ship with @kvlpa‘s Kikyo, our verse being based off of the concept that Inuyasha makes a wish on the jewel and becomes human to free Kikyo from her duties as its guardian. As such, any children that they have would be 100% human. Toshiro’s their oldest, so I have him in Inu’s kimono, as I imagine he’d inherit it as the oldest son.

     I don’t have an official Kagome that I ship with, so this is mostly just based off of my modern verse for Inuyasha. Hoshiko would be his and Kagome’s oldest child, and takes quite a bit after her yokai heritage.

WynnSeto

     And last but not least, in my ship with @austerre, Seto and Wynn eventually end up having a set of twin girls, Emiko and Heidi respectively. Emiko takes more after Seto, and will likely go on to eventually take over the company after her father and uncle. We’re not really sure who Heidi takes after, exactly, because she’s a lot more social than both of her parents. She did pick up Seto’s passion for dueling though, so there’s something to be said for that.

     Heidi also eventually goes on to date Yugi & Anzu Mutou’s daughter, and Seto is L I V I D.

     Just like the first boy that I made for these two, Maemi is entirely human, due to Inuyasha having made a wish on the jewel. I think he’s a pretty soft boy, and takes after his mother in helping to look after the village and heal the sick and wounded. You definitely wouldn’t know that Inuyasha was his father based on his personality.

     Inuyasha had never been one for such poetic statement. Though his body might have changed since he’d made a wish upon the jewel, rendering him as mortal as the rest of the villagers, little else had changed about him - at least, that was what he would have preferred to have everyone else believe. The rest of the world didn’t need to know how soft Kikyo had made him during their time together, at least when it came to her.

     There was still a lot that he didn’t understand though - like this. The former-hanyou’s brows furrowed as he tried to make sense of her words, arms soon coming to fold over in front of his chest when he was unable to. Gods, sometimes he wished that she would just speak plainly.

     “The hell is that supposed t’mean?” he asked with an annoyed huff, his eyes never leaving her face as they sat by each other, “If something’s bothering you, can’t ya just... say it? I can’t help if you’re speakin’ in riddles, Kikyo.”

     “You gimme way too much credit,” came his muttered reply, though the former hanyou couldn’t bring himself to meet with Kikyo’s gaze; if he did, she would see just how red her words had rendered him, “S’not like I do much.”

     Even so, the warmth in Inuyasha face seemed to have spread through the rest of his form, prompting his heart to skip beats. Did he really have such an effect on her? Despite everything that they’d been through, hearing such a thing still filled him with disbelief.

     Never mind the fact that he could have said the very same thing about the priestess to sat by his side. Though his eyes remained adverted, Inuyasha’s hand slipped closer to Kikyo’s, until his fingers wrapped, tentatively, around her hand. When she squeezed back in return, he swore that he forgot how to breathe for a moment.

     “… ‘sides… I’d rather help ya build ‘nother…”

     A hiss slid past his lips, despite how gentle Kikyo’s touch was. This human body was so fragile, a fact which admittedly frustrated Inuyasha to no end. For one who had grown so used to his own strength, perhaps taken it for granted, it was difficult to adjust, to accept that he was no longer the formidable monster that he’d once been.

     “I hate bein’ so weak,” came his growl, the only thing that remained of his canine characteristics, “Really, how d’you humans stand this? Yer so easily hurt, anythin’ can kill ya like it’s nothin’-”

     Words cut off as his eyes lifted, catching sight of the look that now hung in Kikyo’s gaze. There was a sadness there, an expression that had his heart stopping in his chest as the former-hanyou realized how that must have sounded.

     Smooth, Inuyasha, very smooth.

     “H… Hey, I didn’t… I didn’t mean it like that.” He caught her hand as it fell away from his cheek, wrapping it up within his fingers, “It’s just… I’m not used t’ bein’ like this, but I don’t…”

     He paused, a slight flush colouring his cheeks. Another thing that he was still growing accustomed to was being honest when it came to his feelings, opening up rather than shutting out. He wanted to change though, wanted to be better for her. She deserved the best, and though he he was far from that, he still intended to try.

     Inuyasha owed that much to the woman who offered him her heart.

     “I don’t regret doin’ this t’ be with you. Don’t think that I do, a’right… ?”

     “Are you truly sure of this, Inuyasha?” Her voice broke through the hanyou’s thoughts, the sound causing his ears to flick and golden eyes to shift in her direction. Their gazes met immediately, and Inuyasha swore that he felt his heart skip a beat - a reaction that no one had ever evoked in him before, and something that he was still growing used to. He had to wonder if, one of these days, his heart would simply stop altogether.

     “Sure of what?” he asked in return, as if he didn’t already know what she was referring to - there was, however, only one thing that Kikyo could have been talking about, and they were both aware of it. He regretted the reply almost immediately, for that sad expression that made his very soul ache pulled across her soft features.

     The hanyou found that he hated being the cause of it, that his own doubts had him avoiding answering the question - not because he doubted that he would be happy with Kikyo, but because he wondered if he would truly be able to make her happy in return. Could someone who hadn’t felt love since they’d been a child truly know how to show such a thing to someone else?

     Was Inuyasha made for loving another, loving Kikyo, as she deserved to be?

     “Of our plan. Of us.” she murmured, brown eyes now dropping to watch river that they sad by, the colours of the setting sun reflecting off its surface, “I don’t wish to trap you in anything, Inuyasha. I want this, more than I’ve wanted anything else, but… I need to be sure that you do as well. I… want to ensure that we’ll both be happy together, if we-”

     He’d never moved so quickly, a clawed hand reached over to curl fingers around delicate hands - hands that he could still hardly believe held so much strength. the movement drew her gaze almost immediately, her eyes widening while her lips parted, the beginnings of a question already upon them. It would never be heard though, as Inuyasha’s mouth slanted over hers, the warmth of the contact quickly spreading up into the hanyou’s cheeks.

     Gods, now his heart felt as if it might burst.

     “I’m sure,” he whispered breathlessly, squeezing her hand as if he feared that it might disappear if he were to loosen his grasp. “I’ve never been… more sure of anything, Kikyo, believe me, I… I just wanna make sure that you’re happy.”

     She smiled. She smiled, and it was the most beautiful thing he’d ever seen. “I can’t imagine being anything but happy with you at my side, Inuyasha.”

     And her words were the sweetest sound that he’d ever heard.
