#momofuku turned out to be decidedly mediocre and overpriced#(not super shocked by that one)#but everything else was great#kijitora in brooklyn was so good we went back twice#i highly recommend both the good (esp. ume onigiri and wasabi cream cheese smoked salmon croissant) and the drinks (esp. hojicha and miso#mocha)#I used to get down to the city much more often than I do nowadays#and it was really fun to spend a day and a half with a good friend there#it can never be a bad day though if you end it with hot pot and then halo halo in bed watching Slow Horses#not the stones#me stuff#nyc#new york city
