What is your favorite color?

“I find White color cool, so my jacket and hair are white. But my Will is not on purpose, its white from the start.”

What is your favorite place to vacation and why?

I wanna go to the world where Myoui and Akio are from. They call it the “real world.” I heard many bad things about it but I think its cool since my friends are from there. 

What is your favorite book?

When I was a kid, my father used to read to me stories about ninjas. So I sometimes play around with a ninja sword then got a scolding later. 

Who is your favorite actor?

What’s an actor? Like Act-tor? Somebody who act? I think everyone can act when they lie.   

Who is an actor you can’t stand?

Hmmm.... I hate it when Akio acts smart all the time. Reminds me of my mother. 

What is your favorite movie?

I really like those movies about a mouse-like character being funny and helping his friends. 

Which movies do you absolutely hate?

I hate sad movies, there are no fun. My mom always watches them tho she cries a lot. I think she likes to cry haha. 

What is your favorite TV show?

I don’t know, but I remember me as a baby, used to watch a cat and a mouse chasing each other. Pretty stupid but the mouse is so creative. 

What is your favorite food(s)?

Anything I can use my hands to eat! Without Will of course, that’s wrong.  

What is your favorite restaurant?

A fast food restaurant! 

What most annoys you about (your mom, dad, brother, sister, wife, son, daughter, best friend, boss, co-worker)?

Dad should stop kissing Mom so much. My mom’s okay, except her nagging (Don’t tell her!). For Akio, not sure if he’s my best friend cus we fight a lot. Yeah he’s annoying at many places but still a cool guy. 

How often do you exercise? What are your exercise goals?

I fly around the house, do some running around. Its still pretty often, I had to run away a lot when I got into trouble. 

Which of your buttons does your mother (sister, brother, son, wife, girlfriend, etc.) like to push that sets you off?

Treating me like a kid, saying “I love you”, sigh.

Do you believe it’s okay to tell a lie and under what circumstances?

What if I lie about lying my answer? Is that a lie? hehe

Are you an introvert or an extrovert?

Definitely an Extrovert, I don’t like being alone.

Is your profile picture your OC? Can you describe him?

Yup, I been creating him since high school. His name is Kibo Tasuke from my original series. It’s a little hard to explain him but bear with me.

Tasuke is born in an ideal world away from the real world after his parents escaped there. Over there, he is gifted with the powers of Will. Due to never experienced the real world, he doesn’t have any friends and is very open to anyone he meets. He has that open, friendly and easygoing personality with those awesome powers of Will yet he is bored of ideal things and prefers simple things like interacting with other people. He always helps those in need and fights off negative emotions, always being himself. He was a great friend to have despite his obliviousness to reality which might make him kinda cute. I find him a really cool character who is ideal yet so human and real.

I’ll explain him forever but just know he’s a cool and kinda naive guy. THANK YOU FOR ASKING LOVE YOU!!!

My OC series

Set in the modern age one year ago, normal humans can enter an ideal world where people can use “Will”, the power from one’s true self that gives them special abilities are dubbed “Will-users.”

Kibo Tasuke, an outgoing and experienced Will user who was born in the ideal world 18 years ago and never experienced the real world, this follows his adventures trying to make friends, stopping Will-users from causing trouble and discovering the origins of the ideal world.

(Yeah i’m not a good writer at all, I just have ideas but unable to put in it words.)

Tasuke’s backstory part 1 

Tasuke is born at modern Japan, his father is a scientist/inventor and his mother is a psychologist. They developed a method that enables one to enter their dreams with their physical body while conscience, hence created The Creator’s Will, an entity which is the key to enter their dream world and freely control it, making any kind of world they desire. Tasuke’s parents hope their discovery would help others feel better about their harsh reality by experiencing their own dreams. 

While the Creator’s Will is almost complete, Tasuke as a baby was there with his parents at their laboratory, when they are suddenly attacked by an unnamed armed force dressed in black. Pointing their guns at Tasuke’s parents, the attackers demanded them to hand over the Creator’s Will. With nowhere to run and Tasuke in his mother’s arms, they activated the Creator’s Will, sending their bodies along with Tasuke to the other world, escaping danger. 

On the other world away from reality, they ended up at a blank world with nothing. Knowing they can’t go back for now, Tasuke’s parents decided to stay at the other world for some time. With the Creator’s Will, they are able to change the world freely, creating a perfect and ideal home seemingly not going back to reality. Tasuke had a perfect childhood, doing many fun things like skydiving, slaying monsters, travelling to unique places, all experienced many exciting things, living a carefree and ideal life, all because of his parents’ using the Creator’s Will without his knowledge. 

As Tasuke grew older, he begin to feel lonely and empty. He wanted to meet people, slowly realising his “perfect world” didn’t feel real to him. soon his hand begins to glow white...in response to the Creator’s Will.

What are Tasuke’s preferred constructs to form with his Will? 

It depends on the situation. If its in a casual situation like at home, he forms floating arms from his jacket to help with extra hands or reach for something like his phone when feeling lazy.

In a trouble situation, Tasuke just forms whatever needed to get out of trouble, he keeps his Will at a random form standby to shape into something. 

Does he have any shapes he doesn’t like creating? 

Tasuke sees himself as a grownup, so he doesn’t like shaping large, cartoony shapes cus it seems childish. He hesitates when Akio asked him to form a giant laser cannon but did it anyway.

Tasuke excerpt #1

Just a tiny excerpt/fic about my character Kibo Tasuke. Thanks @ttebayo-ttebasa for this idea so I can learn more about my character. 

“Sigh”

Lying down on his bed, the red-white haired young man sighed as he feels the same feeling again. Looking around his room, there was again no person around to talk. Being raised in a world with just his parents makes him feel empty, he wants to meet different people who can give his life unpredictability and adventure. Tasuke stretched his hand above his face and a white energy emerged from his palm, the white energy started flowing around his hand. He can form anything he imagines with his Will but now he has no idea what to make. Normally he can make something to get a reaction out of someone. 

“Well, there’s always people out there. Hope the Creator’s Will is there too.” 

Getting off his bed and leading out of his home, Tasuke goes off to the next inner world he can find, hoping for the next person he meets.

Characters notes summary #1

Tasuke Kibo - The protagonist of Hope101. He lived in his inner world since birth when his parents used the Creator’s Will when he was a baby. He has an easygoing and honest personality and an mischievous sense of humor. Almost never meeting new people other than his parents, Tasuke is very open to anyone he meets and never ignores anyone. 

Being born in an inner word as a baby, Tasuke learns how to use Will powers from a very young age. He is proficient in using his Will and reading the Wills of others. His weaknesses are his lack of knowledge about the real world which makes him naive to the eyes of others. 

Tasuke explores inner worlds of others to meet new people and he learns more about the mysterious origins of The Creator’s Will and the suspicious forces wanting to obtain it. 

Akio Kojima - The deuteragonist of Hope101. He is from the real world and is Tasuke’s best friend and trusted partner. He is considered kind, wise and understanding yet has an sense of humor similar to Tasuke. On the other hand, he often butt heads with Tasuke because of their realist/idealist mindsets. His parents were divorced, his mother being poor and his father being rich. Due to his parents’ constant arguments and Akio being forced in the middle, he suffers a lack of self confidence and self-conflicts within himself. In his inner world, he desires a family with love and acceptance. 

His Will comes in the form of half-finger gloves that draws out cards which can summon spirits/monsters to aid him. 

(hmm for now let’s focus on these two. Gotta write more characters like Myoui and Millie soon.)

What is your favorite color? White, as you can see by my hair, jacket and Will. 

What is your favorite place to vacation and why? I like to go to other people’s worlds and see what’s fun over there, sometimes its pretty bad but never boring. When things get hairy, home is the best place. 

What is your favorite book? I love reading cool stories of heroes and aliens as a kid. 

Who is your favorite actor? I’m not from the real world so I didn’t watch much TV. Everyone onscreen looks really cool tho. 

Who is an actor you can’t stand? No one, they are all cool people. 

What is your favorite movie? Ummm.... this is hard. I seen so many... 

Which movies do you absolutely hate? I hate any movies with a sad ending, its just not fair. 

What is your favorite TV show? I like this one TV show where people chase each other to tear tags behind them. 

What is your favorite food(s)? Anything that uses hands. French fries, Pizza, Sushi.

Have you ever been arrested and why? I think getting caught by Mom is worst than getting arrested. You can at least escape.

Who would you really like to tell off? Akio. That guy is annoying and gives good reactions when I tell him off.

What are your spending habits? Hmmm I just do what I’m thinking? 

Do you enjoy hot weather, or do you prefer colder temperatures? I prefer neutral weather but snow looks fitting with my Will. If there’s Snow but doesn’t feel cold, I’m in. 

What kind of relationship do you have with God? I never met God but I heard he’s a very powerful person. I hope we can have a good relationship if we meet. 

If you could describe yourself in one sentence, what would you say? Just a friendly normal guy with Will powers.

What is your full name? Kibo Tasuke.

How did your parents decide on your name? Hmmm I never asked them, I know my name is “Save Hope”. Kinda corny honestly but I like my name. 

How tall are you? I don’t know. I’m taller than Mom and shorter than Dad. 

What color is your hair? Its originally red but I grew a white part when I’m older. Maybe its puberty. 

What color are your eyes? Yellow. 

How much do you weigh? I never weighed myself. But I dun look fat at least. 

What is your birthday? I’m born at 31 January 2000. Also I’m 18 years old, 19 soon.

What is your father’s name? Kibo Daisuke. 

What is your mother’s name? Kibo Sukina. 

What are your grandparents’ names? I never met my grandparents, Mom and Dad never talked about them. I hope I can meet them someday. 

Do you have any siblings? What are their names, birthdates, and birth order? I don’t have any siblings. Its kinda cool to have siblings to have fun with. 

Where were you born? I’m born at the other world when its all blank. 

Where were your parents born? They are from another world called the “real world”. 

Where were your grandparents’ born? The real world maybe? Since my parents are from there. 

Where do you live now? I live at my home at the other world, mom and dad are away now, so I’m taking care of things here. 

Do you have any medical problems, diseases, injuries? I hurt myself a lot back then when I’m crazy with my Will, tripping and hitting myself. Now its a lot better. 

Do you have any distinguishing marks on your body (a mole, a birthmark, a missing finger, a tattoo, etc.)? I have a small birthmark on my right knee. But obviously my hair is the most obvious part. 

What religion are you, and why? What’s a religion? Like worshiping god? 

What is your annual income? We never use money at the beginning, but ever since the Creator’s Will vanished, I have to live by food supplies left over by my parents. Luckily Mitch cooks for us. 

How much money do you have saved? I saved some spare money when I went to the real world. Just $2. 

What kind of house/apartment do you live in? Its just a normal house with 2 bedrooms, living room whatever. A pretty open field outside. It’s peaceful here. 

What kind of car do you own? I don’t have a car but I driven some cars from others before, didn’t go too well tho. 

Do you have any pets? Are Will manifestations counted as pets? Cus there are small, innocent and cannot talk. 

When will you be able to retire? Retire as? I’m pretty much retired from playing with Will. Now’s everyone into it, I feel old.

Character Name: Kojima Akio

Nicknames: Aki, Kyo.

Age: 18

Appearance: Slightly shorter than average, slim figure. Straight dark blue hair (Other world), Unkempt black hair (Real world). Wears a casual black unbuttoned school uniform with a light blue collared shirt, black pants. (Ideal). Plain blue shirt and brown Bermudas. (Real world)

Background/Backstory: Once a happy family but after his parents’ divorce over custody, money and other matters. Akio was burdened from a young age and forced to be a peacemaker between his parents’ ongoing fights. As such his parents are neglectful of his feelings and he didn’t have much friends due to his serious mature nature. The only adult Akio is close to is his kind and patient uncle that he shows his easygoing and happy side. When the other world opened, Akio escaped there to be free from his burdens and be a more reliable person to others. He meets Tasuke and Myoui, then wants to help her return to the real world also keeping her updated about events. 

Personality: Akio appears like a nice and mature person, he is always calm, reliable, kindhearted and thinking about the right thing to do at all times. He also has a honest sense of humor similar to Tasuke, and can be witty at times. Due to his maturity, he has a very strong sense of morality, couldn’t ignore anyone in trouble and not afraid to stand up for others especially bullies and emotional abuse. Yet he is forgiving and gives sympathetic advice to change people for the better. He also can be realistic and long-winded, often butting in to give his own perspective of things and getting into quarrels. At first a happy-go-lucky and innocent child, Akio was forced to mature early in order to keep control of his divorced parents’ ongoing fights. This put a huge burden on him, often stuck between making a choice between his parents with no space for his feelings. As such Akio always endures and hides his feelings for the sake of others or doing the right thing, not wanting to seem selfish or immature in fear of rejection. He hates being misunderstood and prone to overthinking due to his habit to think when feeling anxious. Deep down, he is insecure and lonely, wishing for love and its okay to be honest with his insecurity. However, Tasuke believes that Akio is very mature despite his insecurities and constant bickering, saying no matter how much he endures, he’ll never abandon anyone in need. 

Likes: Anime, manga, technology specifically cute or cool robots, being reassure, his uncle.

Dislikes: People who are immature, stubborn or manipulative and those who emotionally hurt those who are innocent, even so if they are older adults.  

Fears: Rejection, misunderstandings, himself being immature. 

Abilities/Skills: Akio’s Will is Thought Projection though cards. He can store his thoughts and memories inside cards and release what’s inside as attacks and visual images for others to see. Using the cards as screens, Akio can show people his own thoughts as video flashbacks to plan more clearly, avoid misunderstandings and communicate more honestly as this represents his desire to be accepted and understood. For combat, he can store his own imaginations as attacks inside his cards, such as fire or water and unleash at enemies. Akio can only hold up to five cards and need time to create one via Will, so he need to strategize and plan in advance on what thoughts to store in his cards. There’s also a secret ability Akio seems to be hiding even deeper...

Relationships:

Kibo Tasuke: Tasuke is Akio’s best friend at least what Akio thinks. The two often result in endless quarrels regarding their different approaches. Unlike Tasuke who is open and wants positive outcomes, Akio is realistic and avoids negative outcomes which put the two always at odds. Despite their differences, the two are very similar as both unable to ignore anyone in trouble and wouldn’t hesitant to do the right thing, which makes them a very efficient team if they work together. When not fighting, the two often share jokes, have deep talks and help each other’s backs. To Tasuke’s obliviousness, Akio is secretly jealous of Tasuke not being afraid to follow his heart despite being self-aware. Tasuke also sees Akio as an annoying person sometimes yet very trustworthy and kinda cool. Myoui notes that they could have been best friends if Tasuke weren’t born in the other world. 

Minagishi Myoui: Akio met Myoui alongside with Tasuke and developed subtle feelings for her due to her cute look and kind personality. Before bonding with Tasuke, Akio interacts with Myoui due that they are both from reality and he wants to help her get back to the real world. He keeps her updating of the real world’s affairs and always gentle and nice to her, which makes a often teasing target for Tasuke. As the story progresses, Akio realized Myoui have feelings for Tasuke which made him distance himself from Tasuke for awhile. 

Hobbies: Surfing the net, reading psychology topics, reading anime and manga, looking up new technology. 

ETC:

- Akio is nicer to girls than guys. 

- His type of girls is caring, loving yet honest. 

- He can’t lie for long. But not as bad as Tasuke.

- He hesitantly admits Tasuke is his best friend and hopes he thinks the same.

This is my OC Kibo Tasuke from my original story "Hope101"!

Tasuke is born at another world away from the real world where it is free of reality's rules. He developed his Will as a baby and grew up living a perfect happy life with his parents ignorant of the real world.  However due to never experienced the real world before, Tasuke had no chance to make new friends and become bored and empty despite his perfect world. When the two worlds are connected and people started coming in, Tasuke found his chance to make friends and feel real.

Tasuke have a easygoing, outspoken and curious personality. He is quick to act based on whatever he's curious and often ponders about many things. He likes seeing reactions from people, purposely doing unnecessary actions or saying wrong things to tick them off, but always apologise afterwards. As a friend, he is very open and accepting, always being the first and last to talk. His curiosity of the unknown drives him to make friends with the most difficult people, always accepting any chance to know them better even putting himself in danger.

Tasuke's Will doesn't take on a fixed form like the rest but he is able to channel his Will as an intangible white energy. He can manipulate his Will to different shapes and has a higher sensitivity to Will able to differ a good Will from a bad Will. He isn't used to combat because of his peaceful life instead he uses adaption and utility to help him get out of trouble.

Character Name: Kibo Tasuke

Nicknames: Tasu-kun, White Jacket.

Age: 18

Appearance: Fair skinned, slender and healthy build. Clear brown eyes and Red straight and short hair. Also has a white dye on the center of his fringe reaching up to the top.

Background/Backstory: Tasuke was born in another world after his parents used the Creator’s Will to escape nearly being caught by authorities in the real world. The Creator’s Will is a special entity that grants one’s desires and create their own worlds. At the new empty world, they used the Creator’s Will to create a world for themselves where they live in peace away from reality, it was also discovered Tasuke is able to use Will without the Creator’s Will. At the other world, one can use the power of Will with their own sense of self, making them a “Will user.”Over time, Tasuke got lonely due to not having any friends or contact with people other than his parents. After a tragic event, he used the Creator’s Will for his wish to meet more people, to open a path between the other world and real world, making real people able to go into the other world and use the Power of Will. The Creator’s Will later went disappeared after granting Tasuke’s wish and he ventured to retrieve it meeting Will users from the real world. 

Personality: Easygoing, friendly and outspoken, he is nice, open and accepting to everyone he meets. Has the heart of a child, curious, innocent and never ignores things. Likes to tease people just to see their reactions such as surprise and different sides of them. He never misses a chance to know people better such as challenging them at their own game to see the best of them. He views different sides of people as part of them, hence he never gives up on others and encourages them to be themselves. Tho friendly and easygoing, he is straightforward and impatient, often annoyed by childish antics or when things don’t go normally. He is oblivious about the real world and how it works, often giving bad advice and complaining its stupid rules. On the other hand, he is well-experienced and mature about the other world, not using Will to hurt others and knows a lot about how to use Will. 

Likes: Meeting new people, talking with people, seeing different sides of people, when people react to his jokes, his family, food, his favorite jacket. 

Dislikes: Long-winded people, when they never show a reaction, being unable to use his Will, vegetables, lame jokes, being left out. 

Fears: People getting sick or dying, not seeing people again.

Abilities/Skills: As Tasuke is born in the other world and the first person to use Will as a baby, he is very skilled and fully adapted in using Will. Using Will from his body, he is able to channel his Will as white energy and manipulate it to form constructs and shapes depending on his imagination. He is also able to channel Will from his feet to jump greater distances and even surf on streams of Will. He also has a higher Will awareness and able to sense Will better than real people. Wearing his jacket, Tasuke can form additional arms from the sleeves of his jacket mostly to do mundane things like housework etc. He doesn’t experience combat much and mostly forms constructs depending on what he needs or to counter his opponent. 

Relationships: 

Minegishi Myoui: A girl that is stranded in the other world and cannot return to the real world. Tasuke and her become friends after he saved her and she accompanies him to find the Creator’s Will so she can go home. She mostly helps Tasuke in understanding the real world and he helps her understand his world and her low self-esteem which is not present in the other world. She lives with Tasuke as she has no place to stay. There’s a hint she has feelings for him because he is always nice to her. 

Kojima Akio: Tasuke’s best friend and they have a complicated yet special relationship. At first they got along well due to their similar personalities and wish to make more friends, but they butt heads a lot because of their conflicting mindsets. Akio often limits Tasuke not to do things that may bring trouble and acts long-winded to him, he sees him as innocent and naive so he over-protects him so the latter wouldn;t have to suffer like he did. Despite their bickering, Tasuke never rejects Akio as a friend, on the other hand Akio is secretly envious of Tasuke for staying open in front of negativity something he can never do in the real world. They help out each other with their own worlds, being best friends, partners and arguing. 

Hobbies: He talks to Will when he’s alone tho it isn;t really a hobby. He got bored doing things alone and rather spend time with others.

Finally drawn my OC, Kibo Tasuke. 

Tasuke is a human born in another world after his parents escaped from the real world using the Creator’s Will. Over there, he is able to use the mysterious powers since he was a baby and grew up to be an experienced Will-user. Living only with his parents and never interacted with reality, he had no friends or new people to meet and felt empty despite his perfect peaceful life. After normal people are able to come to the other world, Tasuke now struggles to make true friends due to his different upbringing.

OC concept and personality: Kibo Tasuke 

“Tasuke is created based on my true self, my desire to be connected to others and test humanity against reality.”

“Like a blank canvas, he fills more lively with people and able to form many different mutual relationships.” 

“The white jacket represents my fashion sense and his red hair represents his short-temper but the white part of it also shows his humanity.” 

At the start of the series as a child, Tasuke symbolizes what an ideal child would be growing up in the other world, larger-than-life, always looking for adventure, cares about his parents and extremely honest. He care-freely uses his Will powers thinking it can solve any problems and often disobeys his parents’ warning unable to hide his curiosity. He is also a big prankster, likes pulling pranks to see his parents’ reactions which is a kick to him. 

As he grows to a young adult, Tasuke’s larger-than-life personality mellowed out due to being fully used to the other world, being bored and having no friends. He now keeps a calm, down-to-earth yet somewhat unenthusiastic attitude while retaining his honesty and openness. Often during conversations he tends to speak his honest thoughts without any purpose, just for the sake of speaking, which would lead to awkward moments. The biggest change in his character is he gained a quick temper whenever he gets impatient or pissed resulting in angrily lashing out his honest thoughts resulting in hilarious moments. He is also still retains his prankster self tho it shows less. 

His main charm is his openness to make friends to anyone due to his lonely empty past. He believes everyone is uniquely different, shows honest and open friendliness to everyone, often the first to speak and the last person to walk away. Even when faced with difficult people, Tasuke never hides his personality and tries to get along with them instead of changing them. The feeling of knowing someone new excites him, he is not afraid to try different even dangerous things to know someone better such playing them at their own game. Tho he complains at the aftermath, he remarks it is kinda fun. With his honesty, uniquely reassuring openness and unable to leave anyone alone, Tasuke is able to open people’s doubts, fears and pain, inspiring them to be more honest and aware of themselves without changing their personality, resulting in strong platonic relationships. According to Akio, Tasuke is never the type to reject others, a trait that is extremely hard in reality. 

Because he is fully used to the other world and its wonders, Tasuke treats as a normal and boring thing, and is more concerned about trivial matters such as family, friends and his lifestyle. On the other hand, he is fascinated by things other people like, sharing their passions and what makes them alive. He also likes to see different reactions of others, such as holding his laughter if he finds their reactions contrary to their personality, example as Shiori being unable to sleep without holding something. 

Tasuke’s greatest flaw is his unacceptable denial of reality when facing a friend’s death. He loses his calm and honest temper, starting to scream rude and violent words to those who make him believe the truth. He is even willing to risk the safety of others to save another’s life and almost get his friends in danger, which he deeply regrets. As he is pure at heart, Tasuke couldn’t handle the reality of never seeing someone again when they are dead.
