To elaborate on the first mentioned, there is a speed shop in the USA that specializes in yanking the engine and drivetrain from a 2017+ Audi RS3 and slamming them into a Mk7 VW Golf. And, reportedly, they do the unassuming Alltrack wagons too - which is insanely cool if you ask me. The other two are, let's say, more realistic alternatives.

KIA Stinger. In some sense the car is suffering from the same badge problem but it is not trying to appear like something it isn’t and has a lot of values others lack. This car among the greatest and that the critics lack insight and do not understand what is it all around. Stinger is somehow heavy and not as fast in acceleration as 3er and A4 even with the engines smaller than of Stinger’s. It is a highway cruiser designed to move you fast over long distances for you not only not to sweat of tension or get tired but also to enjoy the ride.

Nobody would say it is not a stylish car. For such a stylish car and impractical the liftback setup is appreciated and making the vehicle useful for domestic needs.

You can fit a  TV, or groceries. Main complains about the car is a too low ground clearance requiring a very careful driving on a less than desired surface and causing the front bumper scratches from the curbs on parking. The interior could be assembled better as the plastic is a little creaky on the bumps although it is fixable. The unified interior elements with cheaper KIAs like Rio look funny inside too. All in all the car is fantastic for the asking price although I realize that the customers do not realize its nature and keep comparing it to the cars of both different purpose and price and the badge is dragging it down.
